After they scavenging the everett's prescriptions Ren, kenny and Lee walking on the road to go back to the motel. Kenny looked at ren.
Kenny: "so ren. Where are you from?"
Ren: "I'm from Detroit.."
Kenny: "really? I heard that Detroit got nuked there is a big hole in the middle."
Lee: "shit really?"
Kenny: "yea lee. I don't know why the government would do something like that, me, kat and duck saw the blast from miles away"
*Ren look away with a scared face* "yes..that did happen"
Kenny looked at Ren
Kenny: "were you in Detroit when that nuke happn'?
Ren breathe in and out as he turn around to look at Kenny
Ren: " i-i was the.. only survivor..
Lee watch ren with a concern face
Lee: "you said that your caretaker died after your parents die how did you make it this far? "
Ren gets a little scared of that question
Ren: (I can not tell them about my powers..) "I hid and run I never stop running until I found a safe temporary place but I couldn't find any so I kept moving.."
Lee: "I see, well we have the motel for the while"
Kenny: "well the motel isn't a safe place I got my van working so me, Lee and others are leaving. f*** Lilly if she's stays"
Ren: " good..because I'm tired of walking.. "
Kenny: "same here kiddo we all are" *he pat ren's head gentle and ren was surprise*
Ren: "T-thank you kenny and Lee"
Kenny smile at ren
Kenny: "your welcome"
Lee: "your welcome ren"
They reach at the front of the motel and Lee drag the gate then saw a little boy coming to them
The Boy looked at Kenny : "hey dad who is he" he points at Ren
Kenny: "Hey duck, this is ren. You can be his friend."
Ren: (I'm going to be ducks friend? I guess that's good)
Duck: "sweet, come ren I'll take you to clementine"
Duck hold ren arm and pulls him
Ren: "U-um okay wai-!?
Duck pulled Ren away from Lee and Kenny, they both laugh and make their way to Lilly's. Duck pull Ren to Clementine.
Duck: "hey Clementine we have a new friend, his name is Ren."
Ren looked at Clementine and wave
Ren: "hello Clementine, it's nice to meet you"
Clementine smiled: "hii, it's nice to meet you too ren but are you like duck?
Ren tilted his head in confusion: " what do you mean? "
Clementine: "like wild and not quiet"
Duck rolled his eyes playfully: "I'm right here you know"
Clementine: "I know that duck"
Ren: "well. I'm not wild but I am quiet I like to draw mostly than playing "
