After the revolutionary war, Tatsumi was able to survive the fight with the emperor. No longer willing to stay in the Empire after seeing so much death, so he leaves in search for a new start in his life, and this journey starts with a girl named Ry...
Nui: So, they activated another trap huh. Oh, and I love your outfit, Lady Satsuki.
Satsuki appears behind her
Satsuki: What's your plan here Nui?
Nui: I just wanted to see how strong the dragon boy and girl's Kamui were.
Satsuki: This sounds mostly like revenge for how you were fooled by Matoi's father.
Nui: That side of you is far less charming.
Satsuki: If I can't get through to her then it's my job to put her down. You stay out of this.
Nui: Oh boy this just got even more entertaining.
Satsuki and Ryuko begin to fight all around Honnuji's entrance causing red, and blue craters with every strike. They fight and fight until the entrance to Honnouji itself is destroyed.
Nui: Oh! Wow, I could just watch you guys fight forever.
Satsuki: A girl who is being worn by her Kamui is no match for the likes of Satsuki Kiryuin. Let's end this Matoi
Both Satsuki and Ryuko power up for what looks to be the finale of this fight. They begin to rush towards each other before Tatsumi lands right in between the two and pushes both of them back.

Satsuki: Tatsumi? It seems like you've gotten stronger, very well I'll take on the both of you!
Tatsumi: I'm taking you straight to hell and then that bitch in the dress is next!
Tatsumi begins to make his way to Satsuki, but he gets slashed at by Ryuko. He was able to block the strike, but it still sent him across the arena.
Satsuki: So, she'll even attack the people close to her. You disappoint me Ryuko Matoi!
Tatsumi gets back up and punches Ryuko in the face, burning his hand and causing even more blood to leak out of Ryuko. Before he could start hitting her with a barrage of punches, he stops himself and tries to regain control over his body.
Satsuki: Tatsumi, you're only making things worse. At this rate, you are nothing but a hindrance for everyone involved!
Tatsumi was able to take his mind back just in time to get blind-sighted by Satsuki, knocking him across the school grounds again.
Satsuki: The fact that you almost killed your ally shows that not only are you still weak, but you have no control either. From what I'm seeing Tatsumi Sayaka is nothing more than fodder!
She looks back at the rampaging Ryuko and readies her blade, but before she could charge at her she sees Mako rushing over to snap Ryuko out of it.
Mako: Don't do this Ryuko. This isn't you Ryuko! This isn't what you wanted, you said you wanted to get to know your father better, not avenge him.
Ryuko tries to slap Mako off of her but she holds on tight.
Mako: The way you're acting now, it's like a monster. Rampaging and howling and tearing down the school Tatsumi would never want this and neither do I! You're acting just like how I did back at the fight club! When I was drunk off the power you were the ones to slap some sense back into me! So now it's my turn! I'm going to bring you back Ryuko!
