Ryuko: I thought I told you to zip it!?

Tatsumi: What's wrong Ryuko? Don't tell me the heat is already getting to you.

Ryuko: I think we should get to training now instead of sitting around bickering with each other.

Tatsumi: Sure thing, let's start with some combat training.

Ryuko: I thought that we were going to do the normal run around the slums.

Tatsumi: Well yeah I was going to but then I started thinking about the fight against the Elite Four. So I'm gonna teach you about some hand-to-hand combat just to add a little to your arsenal. You don't have to use Senketsu at all if that's what you're worried about.

Ryuko: O-Ok just go easy on me ok.

Tatsumi: Don't worry, I have a feeling you're gonna get the hang of this quickly.

Tatsumi begins showing Ryuko some moves, techniques, and strategies on fighting through sparring, it took some time but eventually, Ryuko started getting the hang of hand-to-hand combat. During every spar Tatsumi insulted Ryuko, trying to see what she'd do. Surprisingly she just shook off the insults and kept trying to get at Tatsumi. After one of their sparring seasons, She manages to catch Tatsumi off guard a few times, so they decided to take a break.

Tatsumi: See I told you that you'd get the hang of it.

Ryuko: Yeah, it only took you knocking me on my ass a dozen times, and also you didn't have to laugh at me like that.

Tatsumi: Don't be like that, it comes with the experience, nobody learns how to fight without taking a few bumps here and there and about the laughing, it made you angry didn't it.

Ryuko: Well of course it did, but I'm not gonna lash out at you for that.

Tatsumi: And that's how you know you're ready to put on Senketsu again.

Ryuko: What are you talking about? Was this all just some ploy to try and convince me to put on Senketsu again cause if so then I'll tell you this right now, it ain't gonna happen! You saw first hand what happened last time, didn't you!?

Tatsumi: Yeah but that was because you lost control and if you're so scared of hurting me then you won't do it again. The training was supposed to be a test, and you passed.

Ryuko: Yeah, yeah I know.

Senketsu: I think you did exceptional today Ryuko.

Ryuko: Thanks Senketsu.

Tatsumi: See you two are already getting along again.

Ryuko: Was this your plan all along Tatsumi?

Tatsumi: More or less. So you finally trust yourself enough to put on Senketsu again.

Ryuko: I-I'm still not too sure. Before I went on that rampage I felt Senketsu's tears, but even still, I couldn't stop myself. If Mako didn't show up when she did, I don't know what would've happened.

Senketsu: Even if all of that is true. Don't reject me. I want to be worn by you. I have a feeling that that's my entire reason for existing in the first place. Every time I drank your blood, the feeling only grew stronger.

Tatsumi: Look Ryuko I... I don't know what he's saying but I think that he wants to be worn by you. I don't think you'll ever go on another rampage like that again, and if somehow you do end up losing control again Mako and I will always welcome you back with open arms you hear.

Before Ryuko could speak up she is interrupted by Nagita running down the street. He was being chased by some big burly one-stars, he ended up getting cornered and beat up. In the scuffle, Brazaro ends up getting punched in the face before Nagita was taken away by the same one-stars.
