After the revolutionary war, Tatsumi was able to survive the fight with the emperor. No longer willing to stay in the Empire after seeing so much death, so he leaves in search for a new start in his life, and this journey starts with a girl named Ry...
Gamagoori unleashes a giant whip from his uniform but Senketsu and Ryuko manage to catch it, but then get pulled back into the suit which then starts suffocating them, all this happening while Tatsumi can do nothing but sit back and watch as he continues to be whipped.
Gamagoori: Sayaka, I hope you can use what is happening to your partner as a lesson. A lesson on what happens when you DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES!
Tatsumi grabs one of Gamagoori's whips but before he could be sucked in as well, he uses Ryuko's blade to hold him in place.
Tatsumi: Like hell, I'd sit back and watch as my comrades are being hurt! Hang on tight Ryuko this is gonna be a wild ride for you.
He then starts running around the Scissor blade pulling Gamagoori with him and spinning the giant man before tossing him upwards and picking up the blade preparing to deliver a final blow before red spikes start emerging from Gamagoori's suit before Ryuko bursts out now with Senketsu now covered in spikes.

Tatsumi: Ryuko! I'll let you finish this one!
