You stayed calm as your classmates line up, preparing for your lockdown because it's a warning that hurricane's coming.
It's coming tomorrow, but the school wants to be sure in case it's a change of plans. You feel a panic attack strike you more and more to where you're about to lose your breath.
A rebellious girl in your class stands from her spot and pulls you back from the locker you were at. She laid you out in her arms and coached you through your anxiety attack.
"Breathe y/n, breathe! I believe in you. Calm down, y/n! You can do it, just breathe in and breathe out" she told you. You did so and looked up at the girl who helped you.
She had beautiful short black hair. With a brown sweater and black pants with some white details on it, shoes also black. "Are you okay now?" She asked you.
You nodded at her and she smiled lightly. She sat in your spot and looked you as you laid against the locker behind you. "I'm Alexis" she told you. "My science partner?" You asked her.
She nodded. "Weird way for us to meet, huh?" She asked. You laughed, nodding for an agreement. You both thought it was awkward, but it's good you're meeting each other now.
