Tatsumi smiled at Ryuko, during that last part, that goddamn smile of his. It was so cheesy it made her want to barf, but at the same time it wouldn't be Tatsumi if it wasn't.
Ryuko: Thanks a lot, for everything you cheesy dork.
Tatsumi: Was the dork part really necessary?
Ryuko: Yes, yes it was. You damn dork.
Senketsu: Ryuko, are you ok? Your blood is starting to get hot.
Ryuko: I'm fine. It's just nice to have people who care so much about me y'know. I've been alone most of my life, I felt like no one could understand me, let alone actually give a damn about my problems. It's just... Nice to have finally found someone that cares this much.
Tatsumi: Always glad to help a friend.
Mako: Oh, I know we should hitchhike!
Mako then picks up a sign from God knows where and starts waving it around for someone to come pick them up. Luckily for them, someone was willing to, unlucky for them that person was Gamagoori.

Gamagoori: Ladies, gentleman, is there an issue?
Mako: Holy Cow! I hitched Gamagoori!
Ryuko: So, you were following us around huh?
Gamagoori: Relax. I have no intention of fighting you two today. That day will come with the Sudden death runoff not sooner or later.
Tatsumi: Ok then what do you want?
Gamagoori: I want you three to get in the car. I am the chair of the disciplinary committee in Honnouji Academy. And when I am off campus, it is my duty to help any student in need regardless of who they are so get in.
Before Tatsumi or Ryuko can say anything else Mako hops in the car. All too happy to get into the fancy new vehicle and started to heavily urge the pair two get in the car with her. Ryuko and Tatsumi eventually relented and got in the car. During the ride, Tatsumi looked a little bit uncomfortable.
