"I see you've stopped by on your travels again my dove," he said, looking down at me.
I sucked in a breath, opening my mouth to reply but cut off when a sudden loud bang of something hitting the floor got my attention. I turned, seeing Ydris do the same as I looked at the back of the tent, hearing the sound decrease and soon go into silence.
"What calamity has that fool got himself into now," I heard Ydris mumble, seeing him turn back towards me.
My eyes left the back of the tent and reconnected with his as he waited for my response.
"I have to ask you something," I said, watching his every move.
His grin went wider and soon he stood up, descending down the rows of the seats until he was back on the ground. "Based on that tone, I assume it's something serious," he replied, heading over to me.
I sucked in a breath, watching as he left the tent, my step following his. I followed him back towards the wagon, trying to think of how to word it. I didn't know if I should be upfront and simply ask, or word in a way so it hid my true question. He walked up the steps to the wagon and soon opened the door, the lights flickering on as he did so. I followed him in, shutting it behind me as he wandered over to the far side. I walked towards the other side, leaning against the wall and crossing my arms as I watched him undo his ringmasters coat.
"What is on your mind?" He asked, continuing to undo it.
"Where and what did you do on your trip?" I asked, regret forming as soon as the words left my mouth.
His eyes stayed where they were as he finally managed to take it off, placing it off to the side before he turned and looked at me.
"You think I have something to do with Pandoria not closing away?" He said, a devious grin on his face.
I swallowed, taken aback how quickly he knew. "No...but you did leave conveniently after we got back."
I could feel my body heat rising as my eyes danced around, feeling nerves work their way in. I already knew where my mind was at, and having it there didn't fill me with confidence. I watched as his eyes hovered over me, a smirk on his face.
"It wouldn't be doubtful that you would think so," he said, taking off his gloves. "Did the Druids send you here?"
"No I-," I paused, seeing him eye me. "I came on my own."
"Do you think I did so?" He placed his gloves down along with his ringmaster's coat and walked towards me.
I shook my head. "But with some of the things you've done they assumed-"
"The things I did were harmless and some may have been extravagant, but all came to good ends," he said, as he stood closer to me.
"But if you had done something, you would have told me," I said, my eyes flickering over him as my stomach danced. He stood feet away from me, the look of seductivity in his gaze.
"In that case you believe me," he replied.
"You never answered the question." I could myself starting to drift, my mind lingering.
He smirked and stepped closer, now towering over me, inches between us. I could feel my eyes look at his, my body feeling limp.
"You said that you believed me, never or less what my answer was," he said, making my heart pound, the sound of rain starting to work its way in from above. "After all, no matter what my answer would be, you would take that."
I couldn't keep myself together. I could feel as each second went on the more and more seductive he got. My mind was spinning as I felt him guide my chin upwards, his eyes hovering over my lips before he looked back up, locking his eyes with mine.
