The next morning I woke up to the sound of light rain. I slowly opened my eyes, feeling them get heavy again as I did so, the feeling of exhaustion still there. I then shut them again, repositioning myself as I let out a breath, the realms in discomfort as I moved. I laid there with my eyes shut for a bit before the faint throbbing worked its way back in. I then moved off of my side, turning onto my back and soon turning my head as I felt a lingering gaze. I then looked at Ydris, seeing him smile lightly as I did so. I then felt myself sigh, seeing him prop himself onto his elbow moving slightly closer to me. I turned my head towards him, my eyes tracing over him. Even though it had been numerous times that I had seen him like this, it still made my stomach bounce around at the sight of him.

"Bonjour mademoiselle," he spoke, the sense that he too had woken up.

I smiled lightly, my eyes grazing over him once more before I looked back up at him, holding a gaze. I then looked down at my arm, looking back at the realms. My eyes settled on the one on my hand, the slightest look of it being slightly smaller.

"How are the realms my dove?" He asked, his gaze flickering to where mine was.

I sighed, tracing my eyes back up to my arm. "Better in some ways," I said.

I saw him smile lightly, soon guiding my attention to him. "They'll take time dove, something that Pandora no longer has that Jorvik unfortunately does."

I smirked, knowing his disliking of it. "Did Pandora ever have time?" I asked, turning over onto my side so I was facing him, trying to keep my mind off of the realms. "Or was it always unruly and unguided?"

His smile turned into a sly grin. "You know it always had a mind to itself, that's what makes it unique and yet dangerous."

"Do you ever miss it?" I asked, my eyes locked on his, the feeling of breaking away impossible.

"We all miss our home that we started off with, but one must put that aside when it comes to pursuing what we want. I came to Jorvik to spread what I wanted most and to share my Circus with others," he said, reaching gently for my hand. I accepted his gesture and felt him rub his thumb softly over my hand, his eyes traveling down and then back up.

"In all my dove, if we do what we must, we can succeed and get what we want," he continued. "If I knew sooner about my capabilities, or what Jorvik holded, then maybe I would have visited this place sooner than I did."

I let out a breath, watching as he brought my hand softly up to his lips, kissing it lightly before bringing it back down.

"In hindsight, I should have hired a better assistant. That fool can be daft and incapable of doing a single task I tell him to."

I laughed lightly. "He's a good performer though."

He smilied softly. "Xin would appreciate your kindness ma cherie, I'm afraid that wouldn't be gifted with his sense."

I felt my smile grow wider and form into a smirk as I thought back, seeing Ydris soon adjust himself.

"As much as I would hate to, I must depart for a trip I have to make," he said, letting out a breath at my reaction.

"Where about?" I asked, watching him sit up. I laid down on my back, slight regret forming as the wounds stinged.

"Nowhere concerning," he replied, grinning sheepishly at me.
