Kill the Mohawk

Tatsumi walked back to the kitchen and as he was eating breakfast he just so happened to hear the sounds of screaming and then silence before Ryuko joined him a little bit later. Not to long after that, the trio of Mako, Ryuko, and Tatsumi were on the cable car to school.

Ryuko: Hey Mako, Tatsumi when we get to the school, I want you to go on without me.

Mako: Why?

Ryuko: Please?

Tatsumi hesitates on his answer for a bit. He ended up deciding that Ryuko should be able to handle herself with Senketsu. He also knew that she wasn't taking no for an answer.

Tatsumi: Ok we'll catch up with you later.

Mako: And just to let you know Ryuko. Senketsu isn't the only friend you have. You have me and Tatsumi too.

Ryuko: I don't think I could forget that if I wanted too.

Mako gets on the cable car as it makes its way to the school. Tatsumi on the other hand, decided to stay for just a bit longer.

Ryuko: Why are you still here?

Tatsumi: Just want to let you know that we're friends. You don't have to do everything by yourself.

Ryuko: Yeah t-thanks for that.

Tatsumi: Oh, and one more thing... Be very careful... 

Tatsumi hops up to the cable car Mako is in as they finally leave Ryuko alone to wait for the man.

Senketsu: You're scared aren't you.

Ryuko: Shut up Senketsu.

Senketsu: You won't be able to concentrate like that, maybe we should've had Tatsumi stay, you seem to be a lot calmer when he's around to help you fight. 

Ryuko: Will you please butt out already. I mean you're just a piece of clothing, there's no need for all the lectures.

Senketsu: A piece of clothing!? 

Ryuko: I don't wanna hear it. He's coming.

They look forward only to find Rockets being launched at them. They dodge the rockets as Ryuko transforms, and charges at the man and strikes him with her scissor blade but he blocks it with his nail gun.

???: Let me tell you something. It takes more than strength to win a fight.

He says as he pushes a button on his wrist causing a turret to shoot more rockets hitting Ryuko and giving him a chance to fire his nail gun at her, slowing her down.

Ryuko: Senketsu what's going on?

Just as she says that three different clubs interrupt her battle.

Ryuko: This is gonna be a long day.

-Meanwhile with Tatsumi and Mako-

Mako: I wonder why Ryuko wanted to be left behind. I guess she's gotten used to being lonely.

Tatsumi: Maybe. 'Ryuko probably wanted to go by herself to protect me and Mako. I know this is something she had to do, but it still doesn't sit right with me... Especially considering that's how-...'  

He cuts himself off from thinking about Chelsea and turns to Mako.

Tatsumi: Hey Mako, if I were to get into some trouble and only you were there to help me, would you? Even if you would get seriously hurt.

Mako: I'm sorry Tatsumi but I have to refuse! I don't have the power like you or Ryuko so I'd just end up getting in the way.

Tatsumi: Yeah, guess you're right on that one.
