Ryuko: What do you mean?

Tatsumi: It means that I'm getting sloppy, and I need to get back to training.

Ryuko: No, you need to get some rest. You still aren't at one-hundred percent and we just got back from the obstacle course from hell. You can train later.

Tatsumi: I told you, there'd be to much on my mind and training helps me with that. That and I slept like a baby in class today.

Ryuko thinks to herself, piquing the curiosity of Tatsumi.

Tatsumi: C'mon, I ain't that banged up... 

Ryuko: We'll talk about that later but first... Do ya mind helping me out. 

She points to the needle in her foot without looking at it of course.

Tatsumi: You really are terrifyied of needles.

Ryuko: *Slight blush* J-Just shut up and take it out. 

Tatsumi: Yeah sure. *He pulls out the needle* Wait we've seen needles like these before haven't we?

Ryuko: Now that you mention it, there's only one person that has needles like these that I know about.

Tatsumi/Ryuko: Mikisugi!

Tatsumi: We can't afford to just go barging in right now. The best thing we can do now is to get some proof, just to make sure.

Ryuko: Right... But first, I really need a damn break.

Tatsumi: I'll say, first an obstacle course from hell and now this? 

Ryuko gets back up to her feet and dusts herself off.

Ryuko: C'mon, I'm about to ditch this place and see if Mako's mom whipped up some croquettes for us.

Tatsumi: Skipping school? What a rebel.

Ryuko: You're in the same boat as me remember, Mr. goody two shoes?

Tatsumi: Yup, and a good decision that was. Get to be friends with cool people like you and Mako thanks to it. Speaking of which, I should probably go get her.

Tatsumi runs over to pull the pins out of the bubbly girl. Ryuko waited patiently, smiling to herself because of the complement.

Ryuko: Yeah... You're a damn good guy yourself too. *She shifted her attention to the bandages on Tatsumi's torso* Too bad you're an idiot.

-Timeskip to later that night-

The Mankanshoku were gorging themselves on dinner while Ryuko sits down thinking to herself about what happened earlier at lunch.

Mako: Hey Ryuko if you don't finish your food quickly, guts is gonna eat it all again.

Ryuko: Thanks, but I'm done.

She puts her plate down and walks away.

Tatsumi: Don't worry I'll go check on her.

Tatsumi gets up and follows Ryuko outside. She sat on top of the roof staring into space.

Tatsumi: What's up gear eyes?

Ryuko: Oh, hey Tatsumi... I was just thinking about earlier.

Tatsumi sighed as he sat down beside her. 

Tatsumi: You're not getting fat, you look the same. Any weight you would've gained from croquettes you loose whenever you fight so stop worrying about it. 

Ryuko looked at Tatsumi confused and a little flustered.

Ryuko: I wasn't... Well that wasn't what was on my mind at the moment... But thanks.
