Royalty {discontinued... 😔}

Pre-chapter

Avengers were sat, chatting in the meeting room, while Fury entered with a new case.

He held the tan file in his hand, slowly fanning his face with it, trying to cool himself down.

"Why exactly are we here?" The billionaire asked, causing Fury to roll his eye.

"There's a new mission. It's a little different from the others, but it's necessary."

"Go on," Clint ushered.

"It about the Vermillions-"

"Sorry, Mr- Fury, Sir, who exactly are the Vermillions?" Peter questioned, as he bit his lip in nervousness.

Fury sighed, knowing that he would have to explain, "A Royal Family in Frozenova."

"Woah, woah, woah, slow down there, Pirate, I thought only places like England had Royal Families, " Tony told the team, as they just listened.

Fury grumbled a bit at the nickname Tony had came up with, "They do, however, this family seems to prefer to keep their identity lowkey. Not many know about their family, apart from the country itself.

Fury slammed the file onto the table that filled up half the room, showing the team pictures of the family.

"So what exactly is this mission?" Wanda queried, as the Avengers examined the photos of the Vermillions that lay on the table ahead of them.

"Ah yes, the mission." Fury smiled looking back at his two agents behind him, "A lucky few of you guys will be heading to Frozenova. You see, there's some people after Donovan Vermilion for, " He took a pause, questioning his next words, "a failed payment, " Fury said, slamming down another peice of paper onto the large table.

The sketches and photos showed people with, what seemed like, supernatural powers, trying to break into a palace-like building.

"So all we have to do is stop 'em?" Sam questioned the pirate that stood at the end of the gigantic metal table.

"At first, it seems so, but these people have enhanced abilities." He brought up a holographic video, that made Mj's eyes widen as she unprofessionally poked through it.

The spider chuckled at his girlfriend, before lightly tapping her to make her look up, awkwardly smiling and giggling a little.

Nick Fury rolled his un-eyepatched-eye once again, before he played the video of the men and women attacking.

Strikes and punches were thrown, but fortunately there were hardly any breakages in the building.

"Luckily, nobody was harmed, but the Vermillions feel as if they will strike again. That's where you guys come into play. "

The Avengers listened to every bit of information that was told by the man with the eye patch.

"Donovan and his wife should know that you guys are going, but it seems that they would like the information hidden from their children, for unspecified reasons. Therefore, you are needed to remain professional and try not to blow your cover."

"We looked into the mission, trying to find a few of you guys that are most suited for it," Agent Hill told the group.

Carol then spoke, "We personally thought Wanda would be the most suited since she is the only enhanced here, but we have decided to let you all talk it out amongst yourselves."

"Either way, Agent Hill and Agent Danvers will be joining you on the mission." The pirate mentioned, "But choose wisely, alright? Talking to you Stark."

Tony rolled his eyes, basically mocking Fury, "Yeah, yeah whatever."

After Tony agreed and more information was exchanged between the team, the Avengers left the meeting room wondering who they would all choose to go on the mission.
