Chapter thirty-one: la vérité

JENNE'S POV

"Then let's break up" i look down

"What?"

"Why again Jennie? Is there something wrong? Are you being a coward again jennie? Please stop with these gamesof yours im tired of it. Just tell me what's the real catch between us" she rubbed her face. I know this would be her reaction.

"No,no. Not like that lisa. I just don't want to be your girlfriend yet" i left out a sighed

"Why?"

"D-did i turn you off? But it's alright. I can give you space if you want, im willing to wait" She uttered

"It's just that..."

"YOU"

"What jennie?"

"I WANT YOU TO COURT ME FIRST" I shouted and immediately hide my face in embarrassment.  I don't know if this is necessary to say but i felt like i wantes to experience being courted by her just for a week or a month i guess?

I heard her chuckled

"Gosh dang it! god jennie i thought you're making a biggest mistake again! you're hilarious HAHAHA! Why didn't you told me earlier about that we can talk about it" she laughed

"W-why are you laughing" i looked down

"Because you're cute"

Blushes "Yah! Nayeon told me that i should not agree on you being my girlfriend so easily.  She told me that i have to let you court me first before being in a relationship with you"

"Really huh. That stupid woman is damn crazy, dontever listen to her" She laughed

"Why? You both seems close enough. like, really close" i mumbled and rolled my eyes

She shakes her head "Anyways, if that's what you wanted Jennie then im willing to court you everyday if that's your rule. Just don't give me false hope because im expecting for a Yes" She winked before she left me

"U-um okay s-so what's your p plan-"

i was being cut off when she land a peck on my cheeks which made me shookt

"Y-yah! why did you do that" i blushed

"What? can't i do that? i just need a motivational kiss before i court you" She winked at me. i looked down in shyness what have i think about making this woman court me first.

"I-im going" i rushed to leave while looking down on my feet. it's really embarrassing i don't want her to notice me blushing like this.

LISA'S POV

When jennie left, i immediately took my phone out and calls someone who's been bothering me along time ago.

"What do you want"

"Let's meet up" he uttered. i heave a sigh before i pack my things and grab my jacket. he said he wanted to show me something very important and i don't know what it is but he told me that it was about betrayal of someone close to me, i must figure out what is it.

i went downstairs and expectedly, i saw Jennie munching food again which made me chuckle because of her cuteness. mom was cooking for her again, guess she want to make jennie fat.

i shaked my head and went back to my sense. i grab my phone and text the guy im meeting up.
