One Wrong Doesn't Make It Right

"I can tell just by your face & im fine just still sleepy."

"Damn it's that bad huh? Maybe I need some cold water on my face or something." Walking inside we were seated and looking at the menus now.

"Ayden when are you going to tell me what's going on with you? I care about your feelings."

"If you don't keep looking at the menu Kamari I don't wanna talk about it."

She stale faced me and slapped the menu out of my hand while I was looking. "Stop doing that. Tell me wassup I know you bottling up a lot of stuff maybe telling me will release it. You walking around looking tense at work is making me worried about you."

"I understand you care but I don't want to put my problems on others."

"If you don't trust me enough then just say that."

"It's not that I don't trust you. I would rather us have fun then talk about my personal life."

"But you were just asking me about if I had a boyfriend or not don't you think that's personal to ask someone?" She asked giving me a stale face.

"Ugh your right I'll tell you just somewhere private after we eat."

"Okay that's fine but what are you getting to eat?"she asked as we continued to look at the menus.

It was finally time for my break and Josh told me to meet him at the cafeteria to talk so I did. "Man did you talk to Raelyn yet?" Josh asked.

"Nope I'm done with her for good man. I found a pink tie in the couch so I accused her of bringing her fling to my house."

"How do you know the tie ain't yours man?"

"Because my ties are never been solid they have stitched patterns on them. All of them do because I'm the only one who buys my ties bro."

"Did you confront her about that?"

"Hell yea she for real thought it was mine but I know damn well it ain't. I don't wear basic shit you know that." I said firmly.

"I guess man I hope y'all work it out. Just don't spazz out on her."

"What does that mean Josh? You know I don't hit women."

"I know I'm just saying some guys spazz out so much they end up hitting they wife."

"Calm down man I'm not going to beat her. What kind of man do you take me for?" I asked giving him a crazy look.

"Never mind bro let's just eat."

"Nah I'm good I'm going back to work." I said getting up aggressively.

"Ayden hold on man I didn't mean it like that!" Josh said as I walked away from him.

How could he insinuate that I would beat on Raelyn? I'm not sure if she told Julianna something but that's wrong of him to think I would do something like that.

On my way back to my office I saw Kamari walking towards me going to the cafeteria. She pulled my hand and stopped me saying. "Meet me in my car after work so we can talk."

"Ok I will ." I said as she smiled at me.

Walking away from her I went to the elevator pressing my floor button. Gavin had texted me asking if him , Josh and I would wanna go to the club tonight since it's my last day at work.

I responded with a maybe just because i wasn't sure if I was feeling that environment, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to be away from Raelyn. Just so I could avoid any conversations with her, because I know she's gonna press me about what happened before I left for work.
