Prologue

Tamaki struggled with speaking up when Mirio wasn't around to help. His voice would get caught in his throat and his mind would swirl with insecurities and doubts. 

When you began talking to him, you with your popularity and many friends, he thought you would be the angel to help him overcome his fear in middle school. Though when you only called him over when you were bored he realised he was wrong.

At lunch, when he was sitting at the corner of the table you conversing with his blonde friend, your pearly whites gleaming as the blue-eyed boy fed you some food.

You two weren't together, you acted like that with most of your friends, physical affection was your way of showing love.

You looked over at Tamaki a smile on your face, he stiffened up when you looked at him his face going red when your beautiful e/c orbs looked at him. You laughed at his reaction. 

"Tamaki-kun you are so awkward," she turned back to Mirio "Is that why you hang out with him, its like you two are loners together." She stated, she never really thought of how her words affected people, she thought it was a joke, but to Tamaki, it slightly hurt him.

On social media, you would tease him calling him a loner and talk about how you would probably date him if he could hold a conversation. 

These things hurt him, like before it was all jokes to you, he just wanted your approval so went along with it. He would always repair parts of his mentality by reminding himself you talk to most of your friends like that.

He would always try to defend himself counterarguing, and you would just laugh through the text finding it funny how much he tried to defend himself over something so small.

He would then read over the conversation to see where it started to become funny.

It was Middle school there wasn't a lot going on then just immature teens who wanted drama and to stir shit.

Again before class started you sat on your desk talking to people, Mirio wasn't in the classroom, so Tamaki sat in the corner like usual.

"Tamaki-Kun comes here, I want you to be around when I tell people this." He heard it as a command, getting out of his seat, you had power over him, you knew that but you wouldn't use that power all the time just when you were bored otherwise you'd leave him alone.

"Why didn't you tell everyone you were like a real freak in the sheets ya know with that tentacle kink and you have a thing for anonymous sex, I'm sure we are all interested." You giggled a malicious smile on your face. 

It was the last day of Middle school its not like anyone would remember anyway plus this is the last time you would do something like this. You were going to UA a good hero would never treat someone else like that.

The horrified look on his face made you smile, it was so comical, you waited for him to say something anything to make it funnier.

"anonymous sex is a bit weird don't you think." Your friend said you had your hands wrapped around his waist head resting on his shoulder.

"Hey don't kink shame!" You giggled again, your laugh was contagious even to him but this time he was quite angry.

"What's your problem, do you struggle with being nice or something?!" He raised his voice catching the others off guard. This was different from usual where you made him hold your stuff, do your homework or pay for your lunch, this was embarrassing.

"Calm down sweetie, Can you not take a joke?" You teased, you couldn't see how this was affecting him and how he was trying so hard to not cower away.

"It's not funny an I want you t-to fuck off, non of the people around you right now like you, I don't like you I find you so annoying and I don't care what happens in your house so stop telling me your shit cause no one cares!" 

Once he stopped he lifted his head to look at you, your smile completely gone. He could've stopped at no one likes you but no, he decided to bring up your home life. 

The thing is as your mind tells you that he has no friends so he can't tell anyone your shit, you told him all about your dad touching you since your mum died and you 'remind him of her' and now he's saying he doesn't care. 

It hurt.

"You are a dick Tamaki-Kun could've just told me to fuck off and say you hated me but you decided to go further you fucking prick." You got off your table walked out of your classroom. You weren't gonna cry cause of a loner like him.

Tamaki felt proud of himself he was finally able to stand up for himself and get you to stop bothering him.

You left school and sat in the park sulking on the swings.

"Shouldn't think about him that much, with a quirk like that how far in life could he get."
