Y/N TOOK THE CAR RIDE back to hang out with the dream team, sapnap driving his car with dream sitting next to him while you sat in the backseat with george. sapnap and george were mostly making random conversation, dream staying quiet on his phone. his eyes eventually trailed over to the side view mirror, seeing your face smiling and giggling at sapnap and george's jokes. good thing he had a mask on because no one could see how much he actually missed you.
upon getting out of the car, you went up to the dream team's shared apartment, getting inside while chatting with sapnap. you were met with the familiar mini hallway with two rooms on the left and one on the right, and a kitchen in the open space. continuing to step inside, you instantly noticed dream turning to look at you, staring at you. "congratu-" you were mid sentence, about to compliment dream's victory when you heard him let out a scoff, turning away and going into his bedroom, slamming the door shut.
you bit your lip, gazing down at the ground and crossing your ankles out of disappointment. before your spirits could be dejected though, you felt a hand find its way to your shoulder, making you look to the side. "hey y/n/n." george said, smiling at you. you smiled back. "hi george." you let out softly, making his heart flutter and his eyes glimmer under the light.
"do you wanna maybe.. get something to eat sometime? just the two of us?" george said a bit awkwardly, shuffling his feet against the floor as he's always nervous around you. you chuckled at his antics, your smile softening while you placed an arm around his shoulders. "i'd love to, george." you two were interrupted as sapnap stepped in, closing his bedroom door with an audible noise. "ready to go, y/n/n?" sapnap asked, prompting george to stare at him in a semi-deadpan. "mmhm." you said, nodding.
"just call me to make plans." you finished off, turning towards george briefly. when you looked at him, his expression instantly flickered back to a happy one, nodding at you. "alright. will do." george replied, bowing his head down slightly. sapnap opened the apartment door for you, letting you walk out first. "bye gogy!" you exclaimed, glancing behind you and giving george a wave. he giggled at you, waving back. "bye y/n/n!" sapnap rolled his eyes and shut the door, dangling his car keys between his fingers. he just wanted to take you home not watch you interact with his friend.
