My first day at Lapizaurius Academy. To say I'm nervous is a complete understatement because this school is the most prestigious in the world. By world I mean Wyoming but it's still a big deal. God, I hope I can make some friends here. I would really hate it if I was lonely, maybe my roommate could be my friend? I hope I get a normal roommate and not one of those fantasies about everything, cause I don't wanna be stuck with someone who believes things that are and always will be impossible are indeed possible. I used to be like that once I was so naïve but I grew up and set my eyes on more realistic goals like going to this academy.

I walk to the line of ever growing freshman and begin to worry. What if I'm not as good as these other people? What if I'm not pretty or likeable enough for me to find friends or even a boyfriend? What if my teachers hate me? I'm taken out of my thoughts by a loud shriek. "Oh my god Natalia is that really you?" I turn my head in surprise because I recognize that voice and my name.

"Ta-Ta-Tamara?" I ask not believing my eyes when she nods. I-I can't believe it Tamera has always shown her dislike for anything she considers "rich" and "snobby" with this school being at the top of the list. I realize that everyone is staring at us so I whisper-scream "What are you doing here?"

"I got in isn't this amazing now we can be together again! I really missed you Natalia." I smile because that's the nicest thing she's ever said to me and now I won't be lonely in this school.

"That is great please tell me we're roommates" I practically beg.

"Of course we're roommates! But, there's something that I have to show you first, promise me you won't freak out." I just shrug because most of the time she just shows me another "hot" guy she thinks I would like.

I follow her around the enormous school and just take in all the amazing architecture. Who knew such a newer place could have architecture that makes it look ancient. Tamara finally leads me down this hall and stops in front of a wall.

"Now I'm not sure if this is the right spot. It might be on the other side of the school but just stand back and wait for me to finish." I nod because I have no idea what's going on. Maybe my friend's brain has finally melted. She mutters a few words I can't hear and we wait ten minutes before she realizes that we must be in the wrong hallway. "Goddamn it follow me again Natalia."

"Stop it right there you trouble makers, now I'm not sure if you know the rules here in Lapizaurius Academy but freshmen aren't allowed to explore on the first day. Now take it as a warning and leave if I see you guys out in the halls again I will have to punish you." I turned around and realize that the goddamn principal was standing right behind me.

Quickly I say "We are so sorry sir! We were trying to find our dorm but we are so lost. My friend here was so excited to be here that we forgot to get a map of this place!" I flash him a fake smile and he seems to be less mad.

"Very well then the freshmen dorms are all the way down the hall take a left and then the next right and you shall find them" he walks away briskly probably trying to find more trouble makers. I breathe a sigh of relief and see that Tamara is focused on the wall again. I tug at her arm because we need to get to the dorms and she just pushes me off.

"Hmmm I'm so sorry Natalia I wish I could've shown you something magical. I mean we still have time to go to the other hallway?" I shake my head because has she listened to a single word that I said?

"I'm sorry we have to go to the dorms, Tamara, otherwise Principal Anderson will punish us and I'd rather not be punished on my first day of school." I tug at her arm again and luckily she follows me. I become nervous because Lapizaurius doesn't separate boys and girls in the dorms so it's two boys and two girls in one dorm together so I have to meet these new boys that I haven't met before. We arrive at the door and I turn the key.

"Oh my god finally you guys are here it's almost curfew and I don't want you guys to get into trouble on your first day" this kind of hot man says when we walk in. I put down my stuff and roll my eyes. What a jerk. "Ayo Emil, the girls are here."

"Finally I swear these girls are going to get us in so much trouble bro like do they not know the rules." I automatically dislike this Emil kid, superiority complex and talks about people like they aren't there? He is and always will be a jerk.

"Yo lay off us we just got lost on our way here we forgot a map" I say with a glare towards Emil. He scowls but doesn't say anything. I start unpacking my things when I get a text from my mom.

Mom: Hey honey I hope the school is everything that you ever wanted and more! I miss you so much I can't wait for you to come home for Christmas!

Me: The school is amazing. I'm so happy you let me go here! I honestly can't wait to see you again. I can tell some of my roommates might be jerks but at least Tamara decided to apply too so that's good! Miss you a lot!

I turn my phone off because I can't stand when people stare at me or when they see me crying, which I might do because it's always just me and my mom. She's always been so hardworking and supportive of my dreams and is the reason I'm in this academy anyways.

"Okay I'm going to sleep because unlike some people I have hard classes and I need my sleep so good night Keenan." That Emil boy states after I'm finished unpacking my things.

"Yeah I'm also tired. Thank you good night as well to you Keenan and to you Tamara can't wait to start my accelerated classes tomorrow!" I retaliated back. This earns me a laugh from Keenan and a glare from Emil but who do I care if these boys have nothing on me if only they saw my schedule.
