After the revolutionary war, Tatsumi was able to survive the fight with the emperor. No longer willing to stay in the Empire after seeing so much death, so he leaves in search for a new start in his life, and this journey starts with a girl named Ry...
Ryuko: I guess I should thank you then. I don't think I would've been able to get outta there as easily if it weren't for you.
Tatsumi: Don't mention it. Mind telling me where we're headed?
Ryuko: To my old place. I gotta do something real quick.
Ryuko and Tatsumi soon arrive at a burnt-down mansion before getting off the motorcycle and walking inside.
Tatsumi: This were you live at or something?
Ryuko: Nah. This used to be my dad's place... It's a long story.
Tatsumi: I'm not judging. Times are tough and stuff like that.
They walked further into the burned down mansion before Ryuko stopped and stabbed the ground with her scissor and knelt down beside it
Ryuko: I'm sorry dad looks like I wasn't able to find your killer. If only I were stronger.
Tatsumi: 'So that's what's going on here.'
Tatsumi walked up to her but before he could say anything the ground underneath them opened up and they both fell into the dark hole, that led into a giant room with towers of cloth. Ryuko hit the ground hard, but Tatsumi was able to land on his feet.
Ryuko: Ow. Didn't even know we had a basement like this. Hey Tatsumi, are you ok?
Tatsumi looked down to see that some of his clothes got ripped up.
Tatsumi: Yeah, I'm fine. I might need a new set of clothes though. How about you?
Ryuko looks at her arm to see that she has a cut with blood leaking out.
Ryuko: It's just a small cut. Come on, we need to find a way out of here.
Tatsumi nodded and went to search for a way out. As Ryuko searched she heard a faint voice echo through the room.
???: More... Give me... More...
Ryuko: Hey Tatsumi did you hear that?
Tatsumi: Hear what?
???: More... More... I NEED MORE!!!
From the pile of cloth jumps and red and black sailor uniform latching on to Ryuko and pushing her against a wall.
Uniform: Put me on! I need more! Don't make me go back to sleep!

Tatsumi: Ryuko I heard some noise, are you okay- WHAT IN THE HELL!?
Ryuko looks at the brunette completely red in the face due to embarrassment.
