Tatsumi: Well, it's not like I have anything better to do so sure.

They began their walk and Tatsumi just so happened to notice the buildings get better and better as he went up. The people got livelier and happier, almost the complete opposite of the dustbowl they were in a few minutes ago. Once again, Tatsumi's optimisim about this new city was shot when they spotted a naked man hanging from the entrance with a sign.

Tatsumi: What the hell is that?

Ryuko looked up from her thought to read the sign on the man's waist.

Ryuko: "This naked pig attempted to steal from Honnouji academy. As such justice was served."

Tatsumi: 'Shit! I don't like the looks of this place at all'

Ryuko: Looks like I can get some answers here after all.

Tatsumi looks at her confused before getting dragged by Ryuko.

Ryuko: Hurry up, we're going to be late for class!

Tatsumi: Wait what? Class?

But it was too late and Tatsumi was already in the school. They arrived in class with to meet up with a teacher that looked done with life. On the whiteboard, a name was shown Mr. Mikisugi.

Mikisugi: Everyone, I'd like to introduce our new transfer student Ryuko Matoi and... Who are you?

Tatsumi: I'm Tatsumi.

Mikisugi: I don't recall seeing a Tatsumi here, got a last name?

Tatsumi: 'Think Tatsumi, the entire class is looking at you.' Tatsumi... Sayaka? 'Shit, are you trying to sound suspicious?'

Just before the teacher could ask another question a familiar voice

Brown-haired girl: Hey guys! Ryuko you can sit here and Tatsumi, you can sit right over here!

Mikisugi: You two know her?

Tatsumi looks at Ryuko.

Tatsumi: You're turn to speak now.

Ryuko: Kind of...?

Mikisugi: Well, I guess you two can sit over there for the time being.

Tatsumi and Ryuko sat down on opposite sides of the girl.

Girl: Hey guys! My name's Mako Mankanshoku! Nice to meet ya'!

Tatsumi: Hey Mako, nice to meet you too.

Ryuko: Hey Mako-

Before she could even finish Mako pulled a bento box out of nowhere, ate it in seconds then proceeded to fall asleep. Ryuko looked at Tatsumi confused, to which he just looked back at her with the same look, they ended up putting it aside and waited for class to end.

As soon as the bell rang Tatsumi and Ryuko left the class and were wandering down the hall until suddenly.

Mako: Ryukoooo, Tatsumiiiiii!!!

They both dodged an incoming Mako who landed right into a trash can.

Mako: Hey why'd you dodge me!?

Tatsumi: I think that'd be the normal response to something flying at you.

Ryuko: Yeah, what he said.

Mako, ignoring both of them, instead looked at the guitar case on Ryuko's back.

Mako: Hey Ryuko do you play the guitar? Get them and I'll start singing. 3 2 1 Go.

Mako then began horribly singing, ignoring this Tatsumi goes up to Ryuko.
