Kill The Uniform

Mako began stuffing the food into their mouths much to Tatsumi's displeasure. Luckily for him they weren't poisonous in any way. After eating, the family quickly falls asleep, leaving only Tatsumi and Ryuko up.

Tatsumi: I think Imma go for a midnight Training session, it's pretty crowded here anyway. If you need me, I'll be sleeping on the rooftop.

Ryuko: The rooftop?

Tatsumi: What? I like to stargaze.

Ryuko: Just didn't think of you as the type. You got this hardned warrior vibe going on especially with the eye of yours.

Tatsumi: Well you're at least partially right. The place I come from ain't really for the weak I'll say that much.

Ryuko: What you a military guy or something?

Tatsumi: Uhh... Something like that.

Ryuko: So what was it?

Tatsumi: I was an assassin.

Ryuko: WHAT?!

Ryuko took two steps back, almost falling off of the roof.

Tatsumi: Relax it was a joke...

Ryuko: Jeez don't play like that. Thought you were a psyco for a second.

Tatsumi: Huh?

Ryuko: It had to have been some kind of assassin that killed my dad. I mean who else would be able to do that without leaving a single trace.

Tatsumi: *Sigh* I can't even deny that you'd have to be a crazy in the head to be able to track down and a person.

Ryuko: But I guess that's just that pot callin' the kettle black. I've been wandering around schools for months now trying to track down my dad's killer. And when I find them, there's no telling what'll happen.

Tatsumi: Well yeah most assassin's I know usually have a reason for what they do.

Ryuko: You know assassin's?

Tatsumi: I... It's a long story. Long story short I had ran into a few before and turns out they were only targeting the corrupt people who were abusing their power to do whatever they wanted to the poor.

Ryuko: Damn dude. Talk about having connections. Where are they now?

Tatsumi: That... That's a story for another time... For now I need to start my jog.

Ryuko: We just got out of a fight and you wanna work out?

Tatsumi: It's a damn good stress reliever, you should try it sometimes.

Tatsumi jumped off the roof and just like that Ryuko was left by herself. She climbed back into the house, being careful so that she doesn't wake anyone up before snuggling inside of a futon. She looks over to her Kamui remebering all of the things that happened that day. She whispered off to it.

Ryuko: Hey you awake?

Kamui:...

Ryuko: I wish I knew what you were, Senketsu.

Ryuko thought back to when they first met before drifting off to sleep.

-Flashback to when Senketsu forced himself onto Ryuko-

Tatsumi: WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT OUTFIT!?

Ryuko: I DON'T KNOW! TRY ASKING THE DAMN UNIFORM THAT!

Senketsu: This is what I am.

Ryuko: That doesn't answer the question! C'mon damn, it got off of me!

As she's ripping at the uniform Tatsumi just stares, wondering how he got himself in this situation.
