Lysas was a very small character in DA:I but this little guy could have been a great mage one day and I could imagine him fighting for the inquisition. They really made you get semi-attached to him only to have him vanish in-game completely.
I've re-imagined him a little as a bit older, and now a skilled Ice Mage. he sports the symbol of the Inquisition and is much more confident.
