You were sitting in HOMRA's bar when a red-haired man walked in. Kusanagi suddenly greeted him, "Afternoon, Mikoto.."

I just realized that he's the king of HOMRA. He stared at me for a while and sat on a sofa. He started to sleep there. Kusanagi just chuckled.

"He's an unusual king. When the other kings are busy, he's taking a nap like that."

"Really? Is he a great king?"

"Well, we couldn't ask for a better king.."

"Why's that?"

"Because he's always there to protect us."

I looked at him. He didn't look like a great king at all. Then, I realized that I still have some tasks to do so I decided to get home earlier.

"Kusanagi-san, thanks for the drink. I'll go home now.."

"Okay.. Hey, Mikoto, can you walk her home?"

He suddenly opened his eyes, "Okay"

Then, we started to walk. And because it's already winter, I felt cold while walking. He saw me started to freeze.

"Are you cold? Here."

He took off his jacket and lent it to me. I took his jacket and started to wear it. I just remembered that he only wear this jacket since we leave the bar.

"But.. Aren't you cold?"

"No"

I felt warm in his jacket and I just remembered to ask his name.

"Umm.. Sorry, but I haven't know your name"

"I'm Mikoto. Suoh Mikoto. What's your name, then?"

"I'm (l/n)(f/n)"

He just nodded and there's a silence until I broke it.

"Mikoto-san, why you always feel warm?"

He sighed, "I don't know.. I just feel warm. That's all."

Just then I felt warm wind surrounding me. After a while, we arrived at my house.

"Thanks for walking me home.."

"It's nothing."

I tried to return his jacket when he said, "Keep it until the winter's over. You have to wear it everyday so then you won't catch a cold."

I smiled, "Thank you, Mikoto-san.."

He just chuckled and walked away. I wondered, 'how come he becomes so warm? I just want to know more about him..'

~time skip~

The next day, I walked to HOMRA's bar again wearing Mikoto's jacket like he has said. That time I wasn't feeling well and I had a headache. I sat near Kusanagi and ordered a drink. A few minutes later, Mikoto came and sat next to me. I felt a strange feeling for some reason. He stared at me, "Are you alright?" I wanted to answer him when I suddenly couldn't notice anything and collapsed.

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. I looked at my watch and it's already 7 p.m. I saw him sat beside the bed and realized that I still wore his jacket.

He looked at me, "Why do you come here? You have a fever and you don't feeling well, aren't you?"

"Y-yes.. I'm sorry for troubling all of you."

He smiled, "It's okay.. We've called your parents and you'll stay here tonight. We'll take care of you."

That time, I wondered, 'He is really a great king. If I were his clansmen, I also couldn't ask for a better king.'

I didn't realized that I was smiling. He chuckled.

"What are you wondering, (l/n)?"

I was surprised, he has never called my name before.

"It's nothing.."

I felt a strange feeling again. I thought, 'I always have this feeling when I'm with him. It feels warm and comfortable anyway."

~time skip~

My fever has gone and I felt better on the next day. And since that day, I've also became more closer to him. He has become a really kind person.

I was about to go home when I saw him sat in front of my house smoking cigarette. I decided to approach him.

"Mikoto? What are you doing here?"

"Waiting for you.. Are you feeling better?"

I was surprised to hear his words.

"Yes.. Thanks for taking care of me yesterday.."

He just chuckled a bit, "It's nothing. I'm happy that you're feeling better."

I smiled, "Thanks. You're actually a good person you know.."

"Really? I've never felt like it."

"Just try to look at yourself.."

He smiled, "You just remind me of Totsuka"

"Totsuka? Who's that?"

"A friend.."

I felt like there's something wrong with him.

"I see.. Sorry if I asked something wrong."

"It's okay. You just remind me of him, that's all. Well, I'll go back now."

I stared at his back while he was walking away.

~time skip~

I started to walk to HOMRA's bar on the next day. It's really foggy that I couldn't see where I was going. Suddenly, I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry.."

"What are you doing here? You'll get lost. It's really foggy."

I looked up and saw Mikoto with his red aura.

"I want to go to the bar. I'm bored at home.."

"Don't do this again, okay? If the weather's not good, don't go outside."

"Y-yes.. I'm sorry.."

He hold my hand and took me to the bar and I blushed slightly. We finally arrived at the bar.

"Prepare a warm drink for her."

"Alright, Mikoto.."

Kusanagi gave me a warm drink as Mikoto went upstairs.

"(Y/n)-chan, I think he likes you"

"Who?"

"Mikoto"

"Really?"

Before Kusanagi answered, Mikoto came and sat beside me. My heart beat faster than usual and I felt nervous. He smirked.

"Hey, don't get nervous that easy."

I blushed, "How did you......"

He quickly stood up and took my hand, "come here."

He took me upstairs and pointed a sofa, "sit there."

I sat on a sofa and he sat next to me. I felt nervous as he leaned closer and whispered, "I know you're nervous because of 'that' feeling, (f/n)"

I widened my eyes. He has never called me by my first name. He suddenly stood up and pinned me to the sofa. He smirked.

"I know your feelings, (f/n)"

I blushed when suddenly he kissed me. He pulled away and smirked.

"You're so cute when you're blushing. I love you, (f/n)"

"I-I love you too, Mikoto.."
