Caleb had confused me yesterday with his unbroken words. Now i had really wondered what to choose... abnegation i dont really fit in but my parent are here and i dont want to leave them. Erudite- abnegations worst enemy and too smart for me. amity- too kind and happy i can never be like that. dauntless- a free life i would love... to be free at my own will at no cost. and candor- too truthful they can never speak a lie... i dont want to undergo that phase! For the rest of the day i couldnt stop thinking of my choosing ceremony. When it was time my mom drove me and told me to not worry, just choose what your instinct says... my brother just stares at the midst of the window. when i got to the choosing ceremony i saw our factions divided into five groups... one for candor, amity, abnegation, dauntless, and erudite. On our way to the abnegation side, Jeanine Matthews wlked up to us, she introduced herself to me and my brother. she told us to choose wisly. i with my big mouth again said what if we dont, will u do something. she just looked at me with wide eyes, so i just started walking away. I took a seat next to Augustus. He looked like he was about to throw up. I asked him what's wrong. He just said nothing that he is just nervous. I was too. I heard different memes they all went up. The Palm of your hand and squeeze the blood into a bowl of the faction u choose. Augustus waters someone calls out. Augustus goes up and cuts a part of his palm. He squeezes his blood into abnegation. I definitely did not know what to choose now! Caleb was next he did the same and squeezed his blood into the erudite bowl. I was so shocked. Dad started crying and mom looked sad. It was my turn next. My brother left us and I didnt want to do the same. I took the knife and cut my hand. I was shaking. I lifted it to the abnegation bowl. And then my brain took over and moved it to dauntless. The blood dropped into the dauntless bowl, I was excited and at the same time sad for my parents. The dauntless started cheering, and I took a seat next to a brunette girl. Next thing I know we were running and running...
