Tanganyika: You see, when you were enslaved and not accepted by any community, your self-esteem isn't really good. So over the years I learnt that I'm just as good as everyone else! i don't need to have straight hair and thin lips to be worthy being free! I don't need dark skin and brown eyes to belong to my tribes!

Zanzibar: It's been quite a tough way getting self esteem, being colonised and enslaved. But you know, once people started fetishising us it quickly came.
First forcing to bleach and now burning themselves to become dark.

7. What's one flaw about themselves that they hate the most and wish they could change?

Tanganyika: I dislike my albinism. It hurts.

Zanzibar: I'd like to be able to understand emotions a little better. I come across as rude and rough sometimes.

8. How does their personality shift when someone gets to know them well?

Tanganyika: I trust them a lot! A lot a lot. I visit them often and trust them secrets! I'm more open and more childish.

Zanzibar: I become less cautious, more happy and more "funny".

9. Do they prefer time alone, or with other people?

Tanganyika: Around others! Of course only if I like them.

Zanzibar: Rather alone but I got nothing against being around people.

10. Is it easy for this character to tell someone "no" when they don't want to do something?

Tanganyika: Uhm.. Not really..

Zanzibar: Oh f- damn yes. I will tell them no.

Tanganyika: Childish, Kind, euphoric.

Zanzibar: Add 'naive'.
I'm stubborn, empathetic, paranoid and protective.

Tanganyika: Of course I am. I was tortured because of it. Well, not actually tortured. But it hurts a lot.

Zanzibar: Of course I am. How else would I improve myself.

Tanganyika: Innocent and naive to not-so-innocent and paranoid but still childish.

Zanzibar: She also became a people pleaser.
I changed to be more protective and more paranoid. I also became stronger.

Tanganyika: You see, we have many many tribes The biggest are the Sukuma, Nyamwezi and Chagga.
Actually, Tanzania has over 120 different tribes!
Including the influence by the colonisers. We caught certain traits from every one of them!

Zanzibar: She's correct. And each tribe has their own personificatuon. Tanganyika and I are just the personification fot he regions as a whole. We appeared a long time ago without anyone knowing who we are.
