Revelation - 3

This is a continuation of the previous chapter.

This chapter would be from Pakhi's perspective and what happens after they find out everything.

So here it goes.

You see a person's true colors, when you are no longer beneficial to their life.

Often people like Pakhi tend to do things that only benefit them in short time, when asked about what, they would do in long term they have no idea. Pakhi is in this situation at this moment. The question raised by Karishma had increased curiosity in each of the family member, while it shut Pakhi. She did not know how to answer it. She knew the answer to her heart and mind, it was for Virat, she stayed back hoping they would be together again. But will anyone understand her, when she would tell the truth was her big question. "I really do not know what I want Karishma. It's been a year that my husband has left me, that too without informing me. And when he returned, he accused me of things that we both could have spoken in private and solved the matter", said Pakhi. "You and I know that, it would not happen. Yes, going away like that was my big mistake and I am ready to accept that mistake. Are you willing to accept the mistakes you did?", asked Samrat. Pakhi watched Samrat in a disbelief. "You loved Virat, when I asked you about the same, you said you do not love anyone", before Samrat could continue Pakhi spoke, "I did not know that Virat was your brother". "Just because you did not know my relation with Virat you hid it. When you knew, who he was, why did not you, open your mouth then?", asked Samrat in anger.

Pakhi knew she had no way out, so she spoke truth about the promise, but what she did not realise was that, whole truth came out, from her own mouth in a fit of emotional rage. "The promise was what, kept me going all these days. But lately, Virat started falling for Sai. He started supporting, caring and admiring her. I pondered over the question, what was in Sai, that lacked in me. I never found out the answer, but I was sure of one thing that, my love towards Virat was way more than Sai. So, I started doing all the things, I could do to seperate them. The fake letter was written by me during Devi Taai's fiasco. Badi Maami wanted my help and I gladly helped. I instigated Virat against Sai and I was successful, but nothing happened. I waited patiently for a chance and the whole Ajinkya's situation was also created by me, but again no use", before she could continue a slap echoed in the house. No one in the family wanted to believe what just happened. Before anyone could react, Pakhi in anger lifted her hand to slap back at the person. But, before her hand could touch the person's cheek, Virat stopped her. "Think twice before slapping my wife, Miss. Pakhi", said Virat in a dangerously calm tone.

Sai slapping Pakhi would have been a big issue and Sai could easily be tortured for this, but this time the whole family stood there not reacting to what happened. Pakhi looked towards the four members who always supported her, when they did not react she knew that all her hopes have come down. "Pakhi Didi, I may be younger than you, but what you did to me was completely wrong and that's the reason I slapped you. I am really sorry, but the way you tortured or harassed me, from the beginning was unacceptable. Its been more than one year and you should have moved on by now. But, you chose this to yourself and look where you are today. Alone, no one supporting you", said Sai. "Why are you apologising to her Sai, what she did was completely wrong and if not you, someone would have done it", said Virat. Pakhi's truth came out, she thought this was it. But what she heard next was something, she never thought she would hear.

"I, Samrat Chavan, in front of the whole family is declaring that, I would be giving divorce to Patralekha", said Samrat. Even though some may have expected Samrat to take such a decision, it came as a shock to everyone standing around them. "I cannot live with a person who has such mentality and thinking. I will not give her any second chance. A snake would be a snake, no matter how many times it changes it shape. So, I do not believe that, she will change after me giving her another chance", declared Samrat and left to his room. Virat, Sai, Aai and the others left to their rooms, knowing what Samrat said was right, leaving Pakhi alone in the whole she dug for herself.

Yay, finally the last chapter. I would leave here as, writing about what and how she punished is just waste according to me. Since this chapter was about Pakhi, I did not want to divert the matter from her to the crimes of Kaku and the others, so I did not touch that subject. This is the final chapter in the Revelation.

I am ready with the next chapters too and would be posting them daily. They are about cafe scene, when Virat spoke in front of the family and hopefully one chapter where Virat and Sai sort out their differences properly.
