Chapter Four: Chaos

Grayson's POV

I walk into the school with my bag and my script, Miss Jenn called an early start today and I'm really excited

NiNi was totally checking me out yesterday and I really want to do these scenes with her, I come in and set my bag down

"Hey Miss Jenn I'm ready for the reading" I say causing Mis Jenn and Carlos to look up and smile

"Great now let's wait for NiNi to come in and we can start" Miss Jenn says as she gets her things together

Suddenly we hear the door open again and I turn around to see NiNi walking in excitedly as she puts her stuff down and comes towards me

"Hey I'm here, sorry for being a little late" She says causing me to just smile at her and she smiles at me

"Ok well let's start" Carlos says as NiNi gives them an off look

"Wait it's just the two of us" NiNi says, Miss Jenn says yes and hands us our sheets and we get into position for our parts

"Ok we're driving in to page 97" She says

"You mean the last scene" I say confused as NiNi looks at me with the same look

"Hmm hmm" Miss Jenn hums causing NiNi and I to look at each other puzzled, why does she want us to do the last scene

We shrug it off and start to do our parts so that's what we do, it's only one line so how hard can it be

"Ok time for the kiss" Miss Jenn says causing NiNi and I to look at each other then to Miss Jenn

"Wait what, it ends with a hug" NiNi says causing me to nod in agreement

"Well the show needs it and you both have the chemistry to pull it off so please continue" Miss Jenn says causing me to look at NiNi, she looks at me and we both just take a deep breath. Thank god I used mouthwash

I start to leave in and NiNi meets me half way as our lips connect, I sigh into the kiss and I feel NiNi put her hands on my shoulders as it starts to deepen

"Ok that's enough" Carlos yells causing us both to separate and look at each other, I breathe a little heavy as I look at NiNi who looks stunned and confused

The early rehearsal ends and NiNi basically runs off while I head towards my sister who is at her locker

"Sis something just happened in the early rehearsal" I say nervously

"Wait what happened, are you ok" Gina says as she closes her locker and turns to me

"Well Miss Jenn told us to do the last scene in the movie and we did but then she told us to......kiss" I say the last part quietly, Gina's eyes widen

"Wait what, it's a hug at the end not a kiss......but I have to ask, did you like it" Gina says wiggling her eyebrows and I roll my eyes

"Of course I did but it seems like NiNi liked it too because she deepened it and we would have continued if Carlos didn't tell us to stop" I say blushing causing my sister to awe and tease me

"What happened to not being a homewrecker sis" Gina teased

"I'm not, just did what we had to do for the play but what sucks is that NiNi may tell E.J and this is going to make practice really awkward" I say as we walk to class

"Well sis, I guess you'll have to see" Gina says as we stand outside NiNi and i's shared class, I stay silent as my sister looks at NiNi and then me before she walks off

I sigh heavily and looks at NiNi from the door, she sees me looking at her and looks at me for a bit before looking away, I go and sit in my seat that is next to hers and just stare at the board

This day can't get worse

I walk out of class and over to my locker, today has been so awkward between NiNi and I and I can't take it much longer, she's been avoiding me yet she's been staring at me

I open my locker and get my gym bag out before heading into the gym, I see the rest of the team there and I high five and dap them up as I make my way to my locker to change

"Hey Grayson" E.J says causing me to jump

"Hey E.J" I say awkwardly as he goes to his locker as well and starts changing

"So how was the early session, NiNi told me you guys had to come in early" He says calmly causing me to sigh in relief

"Yea it went well, minus the whole kissing scene but I'm sure NiNi filled you in on that" I say casually

E.J stops and slowly turns to me causing me to stop what I'm doing which was closing my locker

"What do you mean, a kissing scene" He says causing my eyes to widen

"Wait, she didn't tell you, Miss Jenn added a kissing scene into the last scene.....I thought NiNi told you" I say slowly and quietly, E.J clenches his jaw as he looks at me but so I it turns into a calm face

"Well she didn't but ima see at practice and in the theater room later yea" E.J says and leaves before I can respond

I look at him as he leaves and close my locker before signing and thinking......this isn't good and this is going to be a long day
