They are best friends. That's an obvious point to make but when she has no other option but to lay down to sleep in his bed one night. It all changes.
Is it really possible that best friends can turn into something more????
Now since the sleepover, Max hasn't really spoke to me. Harvey says he's still processing it all but I don't understand. There's nothing between us. We are just friends.
•new voice message from Max•
"Hey, meet me at the end of my road at three."
Oh. Okay then. Maybe he does wanna talk after all. Well best get ready then.
I really don't take long to get ready but I like to be ready ahead of time cause I'm weird like that. I don't wear makeup so it's just literally clothes and hair.
Once I'm ready, I grab a bag with some bottles of water. I am slightly nervous to meet him to be honest. I haven't really spoken to him since the sleepover. I just hope he isn't leaving me because he's the only true best friend I have.
*Skip to three*
I meet Max at the end of the road. He's standing in the ripndip hoodie I love and some black jeans. He opens his car door. "Get in." He says. I get in like I'm told and buckle up. "So where are we going?" I ask once he's in. He just smiles and shrugs. Oh I see. He's playing that game! I see. I nod and sit back.
The journey is quiet but not awkward. We arrive at the little beach shelters and Max goes on the blue one. I'm guessing he's paid already. Typical Max. "Drop your bag here and let me take you for lunch", Max says. I smile and drop my bag. He locks the door and we walk through the crowd of people to a little pub. We both order the same thing: Hawaiian burger with fries and a small glass of "apple juice". (hehe)
During the wait for our food I can't help but notice Max's eyes. They are just so beautiful. I've never noticed how beautiful they are till now. "You okay?" Max asks. I smile. "Yes I'm okay!"

The rest of lunch is filled with small talk. He doesn't answer my question of "how come you haven't spoken to me since the sleepover?" He just shrugs. Mhm? This is scaring me now but I'm going to leave it for now...
