It was like any ordinary day, around noon. I was floating around the school grounds thinking about the small general store being built in school boundaries. I was a little curious since I didn't see it yet, and I wanted to check it out, so I went there. It was smaller than I anticipated, I just went in anyway, since I knew nobody would see me. It actually looked like it was pretty much finished. I wondered what it would've looked like if I came here sooner. Y'know, when it was still in construction. Anyways, I was just wandering around and looking at the junk they had. After a while, I was gonna head out until I noticed this fish-like person staring at my shoes. I looked back at them, then at my shoes. I was really confused. What were they staring at? Then it hit me. I was floating. Wait. They can see me?!
I was about to teleport away, but then I thought to myself for a minute. I came to the conclusion that they probably swallowed it. The mermaid's Curse was in effect. But then again, how come the school accepted them? Who was the other person that swallowed the other scale? Everything was really confusing for a minute. But managed to get rid of my thoughts for a second and noticed that we were basically just staring at each other for a good minute. I nervously get ready to introduce myself:
"I--"
"Who are you? What are you?!"
They cut me off. Jeez, how rude could they get? I respond with:
"... I'm an apparition. The Seventh of the Seven School Wonders, Hanako-san of the Bathroom. You can call me Hanako-kun. And you are?"
"I'm... I-I'm Jasper. Jasper Elings. Nice to meet you." they respond shakingly.
"Nice to meet you!" I respond, hoping I can melt the ice. I'll ask my questions later.
