Evie Konstantin's POV

It didn't bother me even a bit dahil tunog iyon na naririnig ko simula bata palang ako.

This has been my life for the past 18 years. You can say na promdi girl ako, my mom and dad chose to settle down here in the islands of Boracay because they were hooked of its beauty. And honestly, maski ako. Syempre the expenses aren't really wallet friendly. I guess i should be grateful dahil ang angkan ko ay mga successful business owners, including my dad and mom.

My father owns one of the most well known resort here in Boracay whilst my mother owns a restaurant which serves Greek cuisines. Marami rin investments ang dad ko in sa iba't ibang kilalang companies outside Aklan- he even built a business in Manila. We're well off and that i won't deny.

I've lived my life in silver spoons but it don't mean I'm spoiled. My father, let's just say he's a man of many principles and being his daughter of course he's going to project it to me as well.

"Mam Evie?" Someone calls out followed with a knock on the door.

I went to my closet first and took out some random robe dahil kapag natutulog ako ay mas prefer kong nakahubad. Not only it's comfortable but it's also good for the skin. At least that's what i read online.

"Teka po manang!" I said while tying the strings of my robe into a ribbon. Inunlock ko ang pinto at binuksan ito, the maids have no spare key in my room for privacy purposes.

It was still visible in my voice that i just woke up from a deep sleep.

I chose a high waisted shorts and a maroon loose croptop na pa-v ang neckline. After that ay pumasok ako sa banyo upang makapag hilamos at sipilyo.

Once done i hurriedly went ahead to our dining area, ang bahay namin ay industrial and it looks very cozy. Tama lang ang laki for us. Since we don't have much maids, there are only 3 of them.

And there i saw my mom and dad casually eating their breakfast. Agad naman akong lumapit sakanila para batiin.

"Hija, start eating na. I cooked these!" I looked at the foods and mentally laughed.

Tuyo, scrambled eggs, beef tapa, itlog na maalat at garlic rice. My parents aren't picky despite of our status in life. They've lived a humble life and so am i which i am proud of.

"For a restaurant owner who serves Greek cuisines, you sure do love to cook simple Filipino foods at home ma." I teased her and she laughed.

"Of course no, those are two different things!" Pagtatanggol niya. I just shrugged at sinimulan na ang pagkain. My dad on the other side is busy with his newspaper, hindi siya yung tipong nakikihalubilo masyado especially kapag katuwaan ang tema. He's just not that kind of man but behind the facade he's showing lies a great father to his daughter and a great husband to his wife.
