"Nice," Bonnie stood up and took her coat too.
"Can I come too," Lou asked.
"Yeah sure whatever," JJ shrugged her shoulders. "We just need to call a sitter for the kid."
"Fuck off." Che growled from behind a computer.
"Yeah tell 'em to bring board games they need to entertain the moody teen," Lou laughed and Bonnie snorted. Che flipped them all off as they walked out.
"Alright, team just so we're all clear this is just a stealth mission, do not make a scene." the ginger announced, looking into the rearview mirror. "That means you 'Isa."
"Seriously? When have I ever made a scene?" Lou scoffed and rolled her eyes at her sister's accusation.
"My birthday,"
"The Mayor's mission,"
"Christmas."
"Thanksgiving."
"Mom's birthday."
"That one time at IN 'N Out Burger,'
"Our third and fourth mission together,"
"The second time at IN 'N Out,"
"That," Lou shot her head in between the two front seats and made her accusation. "Was not my fault. And you know that."
"Your fault or not, that 7 year old will never look at an In 'N Out burger the same way," Bonnie laughed at Lou's failed attempts to defend hers
"Alright, fine laugh it up," Lou sighed at her sister's antics.
"Lets go pay this cop a visit shall we?" JJ revved the engine and took off at a casual pace towards an alley. The girls talked briefly in the car about how the plan would go but ultimately didn't say much.
The girls, though exceptionally close, all had their secrets. Secrets that can affect the team if not revealed. But, this tale wouldn't be nearly as exciting if the world was an open book, though to some the pages are much easier to read. Everyone has a chapter and a role to play in the same book. We may not be on the same page but we're all in the same book. A book with no happy ending.
"Umm, sir?" A small blonde girl knocked on the door of an apartment. "Sir, are you home?"
She knocked again waiting for a response. The door slowly creaked open and a young man's face poked through the crack. "What do you need?"
"There was this red haired woman, outside. She gave me this letter. Said it was about 'our mutual friend'. Do you know what that means?" The young blonde scrunched her nose in confusion. She held up a letter that said 'Agent Morgan'.
"Get inside," He grabbed her arm and pulled her into the room harshly and then looked from side to side out the door. Agent Morgan pulled the blonde through the hallway and into the tight kitchen. "Did anyone see you? Were you followed?"
"No, no. She and her friend just told me to give this to you. . . what's going on?"
The man ripped open the letter and, through harsh breaths he read the perfectly handwritten words on it.
'TURN AROUND, BITCH'
In confusion, Tyler Morgan whipped his head around behind him only to be hit across the face with a lamp. Bonnie let out a breath and dropped the lamp next to her. She reached down and picked Tyler up by his shirt color and looked him dead in the eye. Her eyes turned dark green and his pupils dilated.
"Tyler Morgan," Bonnie began, keeping her eyes locked on his. "I need you to calmly go on the phone and call your friend Sam Wilson."
Tyler was now sitting up and still facing Bonnie. Her eyes drifted between a purple and dark green. If Tyler had been fully aware of his surroundings he would have noticed the abnormal change. The bright green was abnormal in itself but the changes were synced to her words.
