Everyone else followed their teacher, twerking down the halls. All accept Becca and Sam, the blonde taking a seat next to his girlfriend. "You tipped Sue off didn't you?"

"Maybe?" Becca admits. "I was ranting to her about how uncomfortable I was about this entire assignment. Like I know I battle with Mr. Schue a lot but how oblivious about the meaning of the song can he be? If I have to twerk in front of anyone, I'd rather it be you."

"Please do," he says, which gets a small nudge from her as she turns beat red. "What can I say, you're sort of the only person I want to see twerk."

"Well you're the only person I'd want to see twerk too," she laughs, before resting her head on his shoulder. "Thank you for skipping out on everyone's twerk-scapades to be with me. If you want to go off with them, then that's okay, I won't be upset."

He really didn't. Not only did he mean what he said, but he also didn't want to face Sue's wrath. "Wanna get out of here and watch cartoons? And maybe cuddle?"

"You're kind of the best, you know that?"

"Yeah but that's cause you're the best so I strive to be the best," he leans in and gives her a quick peck. The two head out of the choir room and to find a place where the twerkers will never find them.

After getting harassed in the guys bathroom, Unique performed a heartfelt rendition of Beyoncé's 'If I Were a Boy' to the Glee Club. As soon as her song was done, Becca quickly jumps out of her seat and pulls her in for a hug before breaking it to look at the girl. "Who was it?" she demands.

"We need names," Jake stands in agreement.

"Some people at this school need to get their asses kicked to learn not to mess with you anymore," Ryder declares. After the whole catfish incident, Unique explained her fear of coming clean to him. While he was hurt that she felt scared to tell him and worried that he was going to hate-crime her, he also get why she was cautious at first. He's grown and wants to make sure the school is safe for his friend.

Mr. Schue was quick to pull a Brittany 'stop the violence' card. Which is a good mindset but...

"No Mr. Schue," Sam gets up. "Enough is enough. We've tried not letting people get to us and nothing's changed. It stops here."

"Unique, I'm serious," Becca turns to look at her. "Give me a name. We'll both go to Sue and she'll hopefully get them to leave you alone and if not, we'll all make sure of it."

Finally ready to speak up, Unique gets everyone to shut up. "I love you guys and your support means everything. But none of it will fix anything. It'll probably make everything worse."

"But we don't know that."

"I can't risk it."

Becca (and Mr. Schue to a degree as well) demanded that Unique be allowed in whatever bathroom that she pleases. Sue agreed... But she also had an agenda to fulfill. As a way to try and get the Glee club to stop twerking, Sue bolted a purple port-a-potty to the center of the choir room.

All the members of the club stare in horror at the purple monstrosity, they all had one thing on their mind. "We have to move it," Kitty tells them.

"We've tried," Blaine says. "It's bolted to the floor."

"I even hijacked some power tools from the AV club but whatever screws she used are impossible to take out," Becca adds.

Unique is taking this the worst, "I'm so sorry guys. This is like living a nightmare."

Much to the disgust of the entire club, Tina walked out of the purple box, adjusting her skirt. "What?" she said, looking at all their horrified faces. "It's convenient! Geez, get your priorities straight."

In an attempt to move on, Mr. Schue tries to get them all back to twerking. Trying to make a stand, Becca grabs her stuff and has her own Rachel Berry style storm out, ignoring Mr. Schue telling her to get back in there. Her goal is to march into Sue's office and demand that the purple monstrosity is gone and to just let Unique pee in safety. A right that cis people around the world have and take advantage of.

She was joined by two people out of the room- her boyfriend and Unique. "What are you guys doing here?"

"I want to see if we can get that magic bathroom out of there," Unique said. "I don't want you guys to be punished for me."

"We're fine with it," Sam tries to assure her. "We all just want you to be safe."

The three quickly come up with a game plan on how to fix this- even if their teacher seems to not want to do anything. At least her friends will rally around her until Mr. Schue realizes he needs to.

Author's Note

I just wanted to make sure it's clear that I'm not going with the Marley-Jake breakup. Hearing Melissa's story about how her abuser wanted her to not have her characters be in a relationship or have anything flirtatious with a coworker makes me think that it's why Marley and Jake broke up. I refuse to speculate on her personal life was like but the timelines line up too well to just be coincidence. The thought itself makes me uncomfortable to go along with it (even if her abuser had nothing to do with the outcome.

So this is me retconning canon cause with what we saw of Jake's character and how he did not want to be like Puck, they then have him be just like Puck and go cheat on her? I know most of the character development went down hill but this was a full 180 on his character.

I debating having them break up and have it be over Jake wanting/ needing sex in a relationship and Marley not wanting/ needing sex in a relationship. Mainly because I like the idea that they just worked it out and truthfully, I like them together (though I love Marley the independent woman who needs no man or Marley and Unique being girlfriends).

Side note, there is a good one shot on AO3 that has Jake and Marley have a healthy break up in Katy or a Gaga and stay friends. I do not remember the name of it but it's out there and was written sometime without 2021.
