Shiyun went on to explain how she wants to earn her own money and spend it on things for her on enjoyment, nothing to do with school and rent like her parents were paying for. The more Dasom listened, the more she felt that she should also think about the money she spends on personal things because it was her dad's, not hers.

That afternoon, she decided that she would try to get a part time job because she had quite a bit of free time anyway. She immediately went to find Kou to ask if there was any way she could work with him in the café. To her dismay, his manager immediately rejected her because he had enough employees and didn't need another part-timer.

"I can help you find a job," Kou said. "I've worked so many before this, I'm sure I'll find something for you."

"Thanks babe," Dasom replied, giving him a quick hug. "You're the best."

While on the bus going back home, she remembered Mark hadn't replied to her after opening her last text.
