"Says the nigga who's not getting any....but watch." Gavin got up and approached the women who was looking at me. I tried not to watch him talk to her because it would only draw more attention.

A few minutes passed by and he came over with her. "Aye Ayden this is Kyla, Kyla meet Ayden my big brother." He said introducing me to her as I was holding back the embarrassment I felt.

"Hi nice to meet you." She said holding out her hand with a warming smile.

I shook her hand and greeted her but then she looked at my hand and my ring. "Wait your married?" She asked.

"Yea I am."

"Oh no I'm good y'all have a good night." She said rolling her eyes and walking away.

"What ?! Kayla come back please!" Gavin pleaded to her but she kept walking.

"I told you that shit wasn't gonna work." I said taking a sip from my water.

"By." He said as we continued to talk at the bar.

After Gavin dropped me off at home, I took off my clothes but just right when I was gonna go to the room I heard Luca crying so checked up on him

He was wide awake with a stinky diaper so I changed him and fed him trying put him to sleep. It was around 1am but I still wasn't tired so I laid him on my chest in the living room while I watched tv.

This boy was growing up so fast but that's my fault since I work a lot to even see him grow. I don't wanna be that father who misses most of his child's life because all I did was work for most of it. Maybe I should put in time for a vacation to spend time with my family.

But would Raelyn even want to go with me? Let alone be around me?

Grabbing my phone I start looking up cities and towns that we could adventure. Right when I wasn't paying attention I heard Luca sneeze making his bottle drop to the floor which scared me. Reaching down to pick it up heard Raelyn come from around the corner yawning.

"How was it hanging with Gavin?" She asked on her way to the kitchen.

"It was good same old nigga as usual."

"Ok that's good."

"Hey would you like to go on a trip.....just us?" I asked hesitantly.

"Where would we go?"

"Not sure I was gonna ask if you could help me with that and ask your sister can she watch Luca for us."

"Ugh I'm not trying to put Luca on Bree she has her own kids to worry about. Why don't you ask your mom?" She asked with an attitude.

"You know my mom has back problems babe I'll just ask my brother instead Damn." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well good luck finding you a place to go because I'm not going."

"Why not?."

"Because Luca has a doctors appointment coming up and I can't miss it."

"The appointment is 3 weeks from now. We gone make it in time just please can we do something I'm tired of arguing while my son is home. I don't want him to grow up and remember all the times we argued over nothing."

"I'll think about Ayden but Goodnight." She said walking away to our bed room.

Throwing my phone on the floor I looked at Luca and smiled , he looked so peaceful sleeping on my chest. It was starting to feel like this marriage is over , yet we've only been married for 3 years.
