Chapter 27

Isen POV

After getting a very distressing call from Sera I rushed to get the people she asked for

I decided to get Arlo first as he would be able to pull the others out of class. I burst into the classroom Arlo was in

"Arlo!!" I called

"Hello?" The teacher said

"Isen, what's going on" Arlo asked

"No time to explain, come with me" I said running back out the door

Arlo POV

I could see the fear in Isen's eyes as he told me to come

I spring out of my seat and began to follow him ignoring the calls from my teacher

I caught up to Isen, we were running through the halls

"Isen what going on?" I asked still running

"I just got a call from Sera saying to get you, John, blyke, and Elaine and go to John's apartment, she said that if we don't hurry" Isen said but choked on his last words

"If we don't hurry what?!?!" I asked

"Remi could die" Isen choked out as his eyes started to pool with tears

My eyes widened

We reached the classroom that luckily held the other three membered of our party

I burst though the door as all eyes turned to me

"John, Elaine, Blyke come with me, kings orders" I said

John POV

Arlo burst through the door and ordered me, Elaine and Blyke to come to him normally him ordering me around would irritate me but the tone of his voice sounded worried

I ran up to him and saw Isen who looked like he was about to cry

"Whats up?" I asked

"No time to explain but we need to go to your place fast or Remi could die" Arlo said quiet enough to not have anyone other than us hear

The three of us stood there in shock

I turned around and pointed at a kid who had super speed

"You activate your ability and run up here" I said

"Who do you think you are talking to cripple" he said

"JUST FUCKING DO IT" I snapped

"F-fine" he said running up to us

I activated my ability and copied him. The class looked in shock at my glowing eyes as I grabbed Arlo, Blyke, Isen, and Elaine who was still shocked

"Do we need to get anyone else?" I asked

Isen shook his head

I turned and looked at the students

"If any of you say anything about this, I will personally send you to the shadow realm" I said

The, carrying the others I took off

I made it to my apartment in about a minute and a half

Immediately I noticed something was off.

"Look at the door knob" Elaine said

I looked and saw something red dripping off

"Is that blood?" Isen asked
