me and aidan started dating  a few months ago i finally had the courage to tell my family a week ago  i know i know it's just i know my mom was gonna be super weird about it but aidan didn't want it to be a secret anymore

aidan was supposed to come at 8:30 ish for dinner with my family i didn't want to have the dinner but i know my mom wasn't gonna leave it alone.. it was now 7:00

"y/n?" my mom knocked on the door

"yea come in"

"hey so when's aidan coming ?"

"mom youve asked like 4 times around 8"

"oh ok i just wanted to make sure i hope he's a nice boy also your father is still unhappy" my dad didn't approve i was always daddy's girl and mostly because im 16 and aidan's 17

"dad will see he's nice aidan is a big fan of the cowboys football team"

"your father is gonna be so happy bring that up at the dinner" me and my mom laughed

"sooo what are you wearing later?"

"uh this" my mom furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head i don't understand what's wrong with my outfit

"y/n you have a stain from lunch earlier and your wearing sweats you look like a street rat" atleast she's honest but that hurt

"fine mom what should i put on then.."

"i'm glad you asked" she turned to the corner of the door and grabbed a bag

"you already had the bag ready wow" she smiled and sat the bag on the bed

"try some stuff on please if you don't like it fine but at least try"

"finee" i rolled my eyes my mom left me with the bag of stuff i only have like one hour left so why not

i tried on the first outfit it was a white silk dress it was short barely covering i knew my dad would go crazy if he saw me in the this

i tried on the second one it was a spaghetti strapped dress purple and with little ruffles at the bottom it also came with laced decor gloves and a white cropped cardigan

i'm loving this it's tight in all the right places i knew aidan would love it

finally the third outfit it was a pink skirt and a white crop top with a white headband not bad but i'm going with the second

it was about 8:15 so i headed down stairs with my heals and dress

i had my hair in down just flowing with natural makeup and eyeliner nothing too special

"Y/N what are you wearing that dress is too short!" my dad yelled and came up to me

"leave her alone i picked it out for her" my mom defended my dad was shocked and looked kind of annoyed too

"uh is the food almost done mom?" she nodded and continued cooking my sister came down after me and sat down at the table shes 19 older then me
