Despite being surrounded by an unknown fear I began to work in the coffee shop, wearing a uniform of a waitress. The blonde later during the work told me that her name was Rebecca and the bald man was Leo. Her behaviour had switched from harsh to polite and she would smile at me every time I popped her brought chocolate into my mouth.

Every night, coming back to my room in the guest house, I would slide into the bathroom for a long shower to relax my nerves before the dinner they delivered to my room.

The meal served by them in the morning and evening was delicious but odd. It never satisfied my hunger and with each passing day and night, I was getting addicted to it.
No matter how much I had eaten, my health was draining rapidly.

Exhausted I  flung myself on the mattress and I gazed at the roof for a minute before dozing off into the darkness.

The last thing on my mind before I fell asleep was that why nobody returns for another cup of coffee and why does the coffee smell like dead but tastes the best?

I had no answer to my questions because I wasn't allowed to taste that coffee made of weird stuff which was still unknown to me.
