chapter 22: 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠?

y/n actually thought for a while and yes. he was right. he always somehow makes her smile or giggle. he always knew what to say to make things better.
y/n's soft lips let out a chuckle and she looked at umeji lively.

"yep! you do. i don't even know how but you do."
umeji's heart was already skipping some beats, but this almost made his heart jump through his chest.
he quickly looked away, knowing that he can't avoid his cheeks getting red.
"well then..you sure owe me for that." - he said with an ear to ear smile
"alright, how about a coffee after school?" -y/n tried to be bold but, regretted it almost immediately.

umeji was once again taken away but he thought things are going so perfect, maybe even too perfect? considering that he managed to deal with megami so easily. but yet again he can't let this slide pass him, he will take things in his hands.

"ohh, i see, you wanna pay me up? well if that's what you want, i'd be happier if you could come over so we could play games together." -he looked at her right in the eyes, checking every single part of her. blonde boy almost instantly realized how shy y/n got, he smirked at her waiting for a reply.

"y-yeah! sure i mean..it seems really..good yep! hehe.." - y/n barely even spoke as she mentally facepalmed herself
"perfect." - he grinned to himself
"w-when will i come over then?"
"i have to see when i'm free..i'll be very busy this week, a lot of falling behind for me so first i have to deal with school i hope you don't mind.."
"what? of course not! good luck though, i'm sure you'll need it."
"oh you have no idea..it's gonna get bloody."

the squad groaned as they started getting up, mumbling and wishing school never existed.

"y/n come on, i know you are not sleeping"
"i'm not sleeping i just don't want to clean, i'm freaking sick of it." - h/c haired student wined
"yeah yeah well everyone does it so come get your lazy ass up." - taro softly shook her
y/n peeked and then looked up to taro, she was lazily laying on her desk
"delinquents don't clean.." -y/n complained
"don't tell me you will become delinquent just so you don't have to clean?" -taro laughed and picked her up by her arm, dragging her along with him
"i'll consider it!" -she pouted
"suuuuure, like they would let you in."
"i'm their friend of course they will!"
"just because you are their friend doesn't mean they will let someone who can't kill a fly in their club." -taro laughed at the poor girl
"ugh, hey! it's not my fault flies are so fast!"
"that's your excuse?" - he busted out laughing while y/n stayed silent in annoyance

cleaning time already passed and y/n had to meet up with megami and then to meet with her friends. but she also wanted to stop by one specific club and say hi.

y/n was about to enter the club, she was for some reason very nervous. seems like she still isn't the best at making friends, but she has to try. so the brave girl knocked on the door

"hm? come in!" -budo's voice spoke up behind the closed doors
y/n slided in and walked up to budo

"y/n? what a great surprise. what brings you here?"
"oh nothing in particular i just wanted to say hi and maybe ask for a number so we can text sometime?" - y/n smiled friendly and extended her phone to him
budo nodded excitedly and took her phone to write his number in it
"sweet! i thought about doing the same thing but i don't know where you usually hang out." - he finished and gave her phone back
"well..heh, it's a bit complicated, but it doesn't matter."
"alright alright won't be too nosy"
"anyway i'm sorry i have to go meet with council as well so.."
"oh? are you in trouble?"
"i hope not.."
"i see, well good luck y/n! remember what i told you." -he winked
"of course." - y/n then walked out of the room
