So, instead of closing up me feelings to not be a bother to Niall, I'm going to let him know that I'm a bit scared and worried that we're losing that relationship that we once had; the one we already tried rebuilding. We thought we had gotten through those issues but I think that was only a hopeful notion.

Once I was finished putting the medical folder into a more organised system I walked over to sit on the couch to try and relax my mind, and I also wanted to keep an out for the car so I could help Niall out with the groceries and Grace.

A smile instantly came across my face once I saw the car pulling up to our house. I started to get up from the couch so I could open the door for Niall but I couldn't help but look out the window a little longer because I could faintly see Niall turning to look behind him, probably at Grace. I couldn't help but to wonder what he was saying to her right then.

I went to the door and opened it as Niall was just getting himself out of the car. He looked to me from over his shoulder once he caught that the door was opening.

He smiled and sent me a small wave. Then I could hear him telling Grace that I was there to welcome them home. I couldn't help my own smile.

Niall walked up our small driveway with the carseat in his grasp. I titled my head slightly as I looked down to Grace. She wore a a soft sweater with a large strawberry on the front with a matching hat and pink pants.

"She almost fell asleep on the drive home. The market took a lot out of her." He lightly joked as he handed the carseat over to me. "Don't worry, little darlin', you'll be set down for your nap once I get all the bags inside." Niall

"Hey, Gracie Bug," I said in a cheerful tone as I smiled down at her, unbuckling her from the carseat that I placed onto the floor, kneeling on one knee as I gently picked her up. I could tell by her pouting face that she was cranky and was more than ready for her nap. I looked over my shoulder to check the clock. It was about an hour later than the usual time for her nap.

"You call her that now?" Niall asked me as he shook his head.

"Yeah, is something wrong with what I call her?" I looked up from Grace as I stood up, placing her weight onto my hip and taking her hat off because it was warmer in the house because I had the fireplace on while I was working.

"No, that's not it." he said as he reached behind his head to scratch at the back of his neck. "We just call her som many different things that she must be confused to what her name should be." He ended it with a sly smile, which earned him a swat to the shoulder with Grace's hat.

I turned my attention onto Grace, lightly tickling her stomach with my fingers but she wasn't having that right now. I couldn't blame her because she skipped her regular scheduled nap time. "You know what your name is, don't you?"

"No!" She grumbled, pouting even more than before. I couldn't beleive how such a sunshine could make such a grumpy face. Since she was a young child it was more adorable and funny than what the expression was really supposed to represent.

Niall smiled to me victoriously and I wanted to swat at him again but we had things that we needed to take care of and I knew that toddlers often liked to play copycat so she'd learn to swat Niall herself, which probably wasn't a good manner to teach her.

"I'll go put her down for her nap and then I'll help you with the groceries, yeah?" I offered to Niall, lightly bouncing Grace on my hip, hoping she wouldn't be as unhappy as she was. I turned to look at her and she had her hands covering over her ears before she rubbed her palms over her face. "All right, you're really tired. Let's go have that nap before supper."

I walked up the stairs once Niall agreed and went back outside to start bringing in all the bags of groceries for the week. Once we got to the top of the stairs, Grace pointed out exactly which doorway was the one with her crib.
