Suzy's Ship

"So, lunch was pretty interesting." Jisoo says a foot or two behind me. We all nod our heads in agreement.

"Yeah, wonder what Nancy bitch talking about." Suzy says using the nickname she came up with for her about a year ago.

That's a story for another time.

But I couldn't help but hear Ryujin take in a sharp breath.

What does she know?

"Who cares, she kept looking at Lisa hoping to get attention from her." Jisoo says nudging me, but I slap the back of her head.

"Ow!! Brutal much?"

"Very." I say smirking at her. We pass up another kid as she is already out of breath.

We did what? four laps?

"I think Lisa's attention was too busy elsewhere to notice?" Suzy says smirking at me.

I gave her a suspicious look along with the rest of the girls.

"What are you talking about?" I ask looking at her as we yet again pass another kid.

"Oh don't play dumb with me Lisa Manoban, you know exactly what I am talking about." She says, her smirk growing wider.

I just ignore her as we keep running. "So Jisoo, I couldn't help but notice there was one girl who couldn't keep her eyes off of you." Seulgi says, I laugh as Jisoo's eyes go wide, and her cheeks turn a tint of red.

"Wait... What!!!" Suzy says, her voice booming as some people give us suspicious looks.

People as in coach.

"Who?" Jisoo asks, but Seulgi pretends to zipper her mouth shut.

"If you don't tell me right now Seulgi, I will hang you by your underwear to the flag pole outside of the school." Jisoo says.

"No way, I'm making you figure that out yourself." Seulgi says smirking.

Jisoo just lets out a sign of defeat and we keep running until we finish all of our laps.

We then go and get our drinks and wait for everyone else, which by the looks of it could take another five to ten minutes.

When I drink all of my water, I stand up to go to the water fountain to get more.

But lucky for me, guess who decided to come with.

A pain in the ass that's what.

Suzy wiggles her eyebrows at me as I just stare dumbly at her.

"You like her." Suzy says, a smile taking over her face.

"Like who?" I ask. But that was a question I didn't need her to answer. Because she knows.

I know.

"You. Like. Jennie." She says, her lips tugging upward at every word.

I shake my head at her. "No I don't."

Lies. Lies. Lies.

"Don't play dumb with me Lisa." Suzy says crossing her arms over her chest.

I do the same back.

But then her face lights up.

You see, I am not afraid of a lot of things, but

Suzy...

She is on the top of my list.

Right next to my mother.

That woman, is scary.

"So you won't mind if I ask her out? I mean, she is so cute man.. " but before she could finish, I had her shoved against the wall in a death grip. "She's. Mine." My voice came out almost deadly.

Suzy's eyes go wide as mine do also..

I let go of her instantly regretting what I just did.

I start pacing back and fourth saying curse words off the top of my head.

Suzy, without saying anything, stands up and brushes herself off before walking away.

But before she leaves for sure, she turns her head to face me.

"By the way, I shipped you two from the start."

My eyes go wide.

I just got played.... by Suzy.

Practice goes by quick, and now it was just me and Suzy in the car as we already dropped the rest of the girls off at their houses.

The ride was pretty silent, I don't know if everyone was just tired or it was just awkward.

But I guess Suzy wasn't having it because she broke the silence first.

"Don't worry, I won't tell her." She says keeping her head forward.

"Thanks," I say, "but if she finds out, I won't be afraid to -."

"Jeez, Okay Prince Charming, I won't tell your princess that you like her.. but just to be clear.. If you don't step into your big boy pants and tell her.." she says but I put my hands up in defense.

"Dude, she probably doesn't even like me back anyways."

But she only smirks.

You know, the kind you would see in a movie right before one of the characters is killed.

Yeah, her face is the same one as the killer.

"You have no idea."
