After the battle.
"Majesty, I present to you, Hinata."
Hinata walked in, towards the emperor. She bowed and kneeled.
Naruto looked at her, she's indeed beautiful.
"You're an amazing warrior. You saved the dynasty, the whole kingdom is in your debt. And I? Well, I owe you my life!" the emperor exclaimed.
"I have a proposition for you, you can join the Imperial Army as an officer, alongside our best warriors." he continued
"It is an honour, your highness," Hinata said.
"But I am afraid I cannot accept. I must go back to my family, I did something that might have caused them dishonour in our village. I would like to make amends."
"Devotion to family is an essential virtue. I understand." the emperor replied.

Before Hinata starts her journey.
"Hinata, wait! You can't go!" Naruto shouted.
Hinata turned around.
"The emperor allows me to go, but you don't?" she asked.
He's actually quite nice looking. she thought.
Hinata! What are you thinking?! He is your teammate, friend. Her mind told her.
"Hinata? Are you okay?" Naruto asked.
"Oh, yes, yes." she answered.
*silence*
"We haven't even say goodbye yet." he said.
Hinata smiled.
"Goodbye, Naruto." she said.
Naruto suddenly let out his hand to her.
What does he want me to do?
"So you still won't take my hand?" he asked.
Hinata decided to take his hand this time. But just as she was looking down, touching his palm, he kissed her on her cheek.
She looked at him, blankly.
"You- you- What are you doing?!" Hinata asked after a few seconds.
He smirked.
"The Hinata I know will just fight if I had done this to her." Naruto said.
"Ah, yes. And she won't blush." he whispered through her ears.
I'm blushing?!
Hinata's whole mind was in a chaos.
She immediately walked to her horse. She got on it, smiled the most normal smile she can make to Naruto, and rode off, to her village.
"I will see you again, Hinata!" he yelled, waving towards her.
See you again, Naruto. she thought.
