The girls' attention all snapped to the door. They all picked up guns and pointed at the door. Bonnie and Che moved out of the pathway of the door. Lou stood at the wall next to it. JJ cautiously moved towards the door.
"Hello?" A voice called from behind the door. "I have the pizza you ordered."
No one in the group made a move to get closer. From JJ's spot she zapped the lock on the door and it creeped open. A guy dressed as a pizza delivery guy peeked his head in. Lou cut him off and threw her body in front of his eye line in the room. "Thank you so much," she said. "Wait, where did I leave my money?" She turned her head around at Che whose gun was held tightly at her waist. She shook her head at Lou.
Lou signaled for Bonnie to come over. Bonnie took Lou's place at the door and smiled at the boy. She looked into his eyes and said "You will tell us who you are and where you came from, honestly." Her eyes changed to a dark purple and so did his.
"My name is Hue Moore, I work for Maddie's Pizza Place." Hue said in a monotone voice.
Bonnie turned towards JJ who's face hadn't changed a bit. She shook her head.
"Why are you here?" Bonnie's eyes flashed again.
"What are you doing to me?" His breathing quickened and sweat fell down his forehead.
"Answer the question," Bonnie said slowly.
"I'm here to uh- deliver a pizza." He replied.
"And?"
"And spy on you to see if you're a threat to shield," he blinked and a tear streaked down his face. He was in pain, the girls already knew it.
"Alright, Hue, this is what you're going to do," Bonnie's eyes turned grey. "You will go back to whoever sent you, tell them you saw nothing suspicious, and forget this conversation ever happened. Understand?"
"Yes." Bonnie took the pizza and put the cash in his hand. She left the doorway and JJ took her place. JJ stabbed him with a thin, barely able to be seen, knife right through the belt buckle. No one would see it and he wouldn't feel it until it was too late. "Keep the change."
He left and the girls looked at each other. JJ closed her eyes and everything using electricity in the room, including phones, exploded. By now the crew was used to it and pulled the duffels out from under the bed. In the dark, the team worked quickly, taking what they needed and anything of real value.
"How long?" Asked Che.
"Till it wears off?" Bonnie looked at her. "Hour or 2 give or take. All depends on how fast we leave."
Everyone looked towards JJ's direction. "It's all your call, Scout."
JJ sighed, "Che, stay back. I want you to make sure the job is finished. We'll be at checkpoint 3b. Then we'll take the backroads to deliver the package. Got it?"
Everyone nodded though no one could see each other, except Lou whose eyes already adapted to the dark.
"Got it."
"Alright, we'll wait here for 27 minutes to avoid suspicion, starting now." Che slipped through the hollowed out painting.

Hue walked around his apartment, he was changing out of his work clothes. He remembered what had happened- or did he? It was all really fuzzy and he got a headache every time he tried to remember.
Then in a brilliant moment of realization, it all came crashing back to Hue. He dropped his belt and stumbled over to the phone. He pulled out the number a shield agent had given him and started to dial. Then he started to feel dizzy and dropped to the ground. He didn't even notice the blood around him. Within seconds he was dead and Che didn't even need to do anything.
She hopped through the window and checked his pulse. Nothing. Che smiled and pulled out her comms.
"All clear. Subject secured." She whispered into it.
"Not bad, Widow. Now get your ass back here, Rae doesn't want to keep waiting."
Che laughed. "Tell mama I'm on my way." She looked down at the pull of blood. Silently, Che pulled something out of it. "And tell JJ I brought a gift."
