The Impossible Game ~~AVENGERS~~

~~CHAPTER ONE~~ NOT THE AVENGERS

A bright light glowed from JJ's direction and Lou's eyes adapted to the light to get a closer look at her. Her back was turned but Lou saw how tall she stood. Her toes were nearly off the ground.

Lou turned to Bonnie who had her eyes covered. She gripped her shoulder as the light behind them faded to a light glow. Bonnie stood up and walked to where JJ was. The girls stood on either side of the red head as she smiled at her work. The battery was back in stable conditions and wasn't going to explode on them.

Bonnie patted JJ's back and got shoved by the electricity. "Ow." She said.

JJ laughed and her jacket sparked a little. The girls heard a roar of an engine and looked up. The car they took was driving towards them and in the light they could see Che, slightly covered in blood. Bonnie waved and Che flipped her off. Lou laughed and JJ took her hands off the battery. It started beeping loudly.

"Maybe you should keep your hands on th-"

"Yeah I was gon-"

"It just makes se-"

"Yeah yeah."

"I don't want it to explode."

"Me neither Bo," Che walked over with hands in her ripped jean pockets.

"Hey nerd," Lou stuck her hand out and Che grabbed it and pulled her into a bro-hug.

"Bo Bo," she acknowledged.

"Hey," Bo gave her a hug.

JJ pulled a hand off the battery and pulled Che into a hug. "Not bad, Ace."

"Well I did single handedly neutralize all guards and agents while you three played technician, so thanks." Che flipped her raven hair behind one ear and pushed her glasses up her face. Bonnie smiled and Lou rolled her eyes.

"Let's get out of here,'' she said. "I want food."

"Yeah I'm starving." Bo took Che's hand and they started walking.

"I saw a nice pizza place down the road." JJ caught up to them. "We can order in from there."

"Sounds good." Lou fell in step with them. "Who wants to make the phone call?"

"I'll pass."

"Not me."

"You do it this time."

"Great so I'll order the food and the rest of you can shout your order at me." JJ flicked her hair back dramatically and let out a sigh.

"Sounds like a plan." Lou clapped her hands together and took a seat in the car.

A few moments later

"I WANT PINEAPPLE ON MINE!!"

"Oh yeah and could you make sure to put no pineapple on it? Thanks a ton." JJ flipped off Bonnie and she sighed into Che's shoulder. "Thank you." JJ hung up the phone and walked over to the balcony. Lou passed her a beer and JJ said a quiet 'thanks'.

The 2 girls stood in silence and listened to the sounds of rural Texas and their teammates. After a while Lou spoke up. "You ever think there's more to what we do?"

"Huh?" JJ gave her a look.

"Like, I enjoy what we do, but couldn't there be something more? Haven't you ever thought about going to college? Getting a boyfriend or girlfriend." Lou let out a huff and took another sip.

"No actually, you know the real world doesn't accept people like you and me." JJ paused before moving on. "Freaks. They will hate us no matter what we do. That's what Rae does for us. We were never meant to be confined to a small space. Here we can do what we want."
