𝘕𝘖𝘞 𝘗𝘓𝘈𝘠𝘐𝘕𝘎...

[𝘍𝘙𝘐𝘌𝘕𝘋𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘗-𝘊𝘈𝘙𝘞𝘈𝘚𝘏]

as the month went forward you grew more accustomed to working with your former classmates. they weren't your ideal co-workers but it'd have to do for now.

and along with those days, the bickering between you and the guys lessened more and more. you barely spoke anyways, but despite that there was always the occasional good morning you shared with osamu. it somewhat of a comforting feeling. though, you were still upset with his twin brother. and you didn't even know where to start with suna.

it was a regular afternoon, much like the ones that you'd experienced in the last month.

there were sounds of customers lowly chatting, occasional page turning, and best of all the woodsy scent of fresh books.

you stood against a bookshelf, flipping through the pages of a random comic book you'd seen on the shelf paying absolutely no mind to the blonde walking your way.

"hey y/n" the male said with a deep breath, his nervous aura was ever so obvious. there wasn't a hint of mockery in his tone.

'did he feel bad?'
automatically voiding those thoughts you closed the book and pushed yourself off the bookshelf "what's up? something happen?" you said casually

"oh uhm no things are going well. i just had something to ask you" atsumu said fumbling with his hands behind his back

you only nodded at his statement as he mentally prepared himself.

'damn it osamu. never thought i'd be apologizing to her and why am i so nervous.'

flashback-2 weeks ago

"I can't believe she threw a cup of water at me?!" atsumu said pacing, to say the man was frustrated was an understatement.

"hey at least she didn't throw keys at you." suna said rubbing his cheek where the keys had landed.

not that you'd care though, you were livid.

"you kinda deserved it tsumu" osamu said with a shrug as suna raised a brow

"HUH?!?!?" atsumu said like he'd seen a ghost.

"she was only doing her job and you had to bring that up. besides i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't true." they grey haired male sighed

"excuse me? are you calling my girlfriend a liar" suna protested

" i'm just saying. and also, just apologize atsumu it's not that hard."

and here he was.

"I wanted to apologize for what a said last time. so would you let me make it up to you?"

"make it up to me?" you questioned harmlessly

'shit i don't know what i planned before!' the male mentally face palmed

"lunch, let me take you to lunch. as co-workers" the male said slightly stumbling over his words

'of course she knows it's as co-workers you idiot.'

"why? you gonna poison me?" you said raising a brow

"no?!!!!!" the male said defensively while waving his hands in the air

"calm down i was kidding" you laughed

you were so calm towards him, had it been because of the people around you two. or were you just patient with him, not that you had to be, you proved you didn't when you threw that water in his face.

"so whad'ya say? let's head out during lunch break" atsumu said with a slight smirk

'why is this sneaky bitch smirking'  you thought

you only nodded before walking away

'when did she become such a crypto?' the male thought watching you walk away.

"atsumu what'd you just say to her." suna asked somewhat suspiciously

'this dude..' atsumu said

"I'm taking a co-worker to lunch?" atsumu said in a somewhat defensive tone

"you're taking my ex out to lunch?" the brunette said appalled

"dude you have a girlfriend, who cares? and also it's to apologize." atsumu said before walking away

'possessive much?'

meanwhile after you left your conversation with atsumu, you immediately went to your office and set up your phone on the desk to group face-time your best friends.

"yo what's up-" hinata shouted

"shut the fuck up." kenma responded

"OKAY LETS NOT ARGUE Y/N HAS SOMETHING TO SAY" yachi yelled into the speaker

"ahem thank you yachi. so remember how i told you guys about the whole drink incident."

"no" kenma replied

"yea well atsumu asked to go to lunch with me today to apologize!" you said with confused emphasis

"uhm don't go?" yachi inquired

"for real he'll probably put laxatives in your food" hinata said laughing on the other line

"why do you think that!?" yachi sweat-dropped

"it's what i would do" kenma snickered

"same" hinata said

"true. but he wouldn't do that, shit i think that's him i have to go bye " you added before ending the call and opening your office door.

"what's up?" you said to the male in front of you.

"ready y/n, cmon i found a new cafe that just opened" the blonde said with a harmless smirk.

"sounds good, let's go" you responded while the slightest smile twitched onto your face.

the two of you walked out side by side when atsumu slightly tripped over his feet just barely saving himself from falling.

"shit" the male groaned while you stifled a laugh into your hand

his eyes only widened as a small smile came onto his face, one he tried oh so hard to fight. quickly realizing that you hadn't even batted an eye at him, he stopped before you could notice.

the two of you arrived at the cafe sooner than you expected, there was no conversation but it wasn't an unpleasant silence.

you sat side by side on the taller chairs in front of the window

"so what're you gonna get?" you asked somewhat bored, the male frowned slightly at your actions

'why does it feel like my emotions are on display for everyone to see all of the sudden.' he thought

"god why be such a downer" atsumu laughed at you, now you were the one fake frowning deeply

"you don't have to put up a facade miya, i know why you're doing this. i admire that your mature enough to put aside your pride, but you don't have to. really, it's okay." you said giving him a close eyed smile.

a smile that said you wanted to get this over and done with, asap.

a/n-atsumu and y/n ch coming up, how do we feel ab atsumu rn
