HOW HE FOUND YOU
-In the Industrial sector of Nexus City, he has noticed an odd factory worker.

-Odd because they were too young to be working.

-He assumed that you worked at a factory with a parent/guardian.

-But with further investigation, the sheriff found that you go to work alone and go home alone.

-By go home, you live in an abandoned shipping container nearby the factory.

-"Kid, I have a better-paying job offer to you."

-You accept it

-You felt so welcome and comfortable in his care that you have forgotten of the job offer.

-And he never actually made you work, It was just bait to go to him.

-Saying "I'll take care of you" sounds very sketchy, especially in this mad world, so he had to come up with another way to get you.

-"Thank you sir.."
"You don't have to call me that kid"

HOW HE TAKES CARE OF YOU
-He knows what to do.

-But Knowledge without experience is a fail.

-So there are many failures that happened.
Burnt food
Messy house
His tired ass trying to keep up with your chaotic playful energy

-Basically an inexperienced malewife.

-But the Sheriff gets better at it.

-He loves you and doesn't hesitate to show it.

-Piggyback rides, cradles, kiss goodnight, anything you want/need will be given.

-So you know how he is a coward? Well while he's being one, you would be comin' out with your smol "fite me!!!" energy. 
"Hey! No one hurts Daddy!"

-Yes you call him Daddy

-And no, not in that way.

-To the sheriff, "Daddy" is something normal(like it originally was and supposed to be ) and not something *cough* *choke* kinky.

PETS

-He will agree to let you have one.

-Because its a pony

-"Y/n come outside I got a lil gift for ya."

-You go out and there it stands gloriously.

-In the finest leather saddle and well-groomed.

-Did I mention it was fluffy?

-Sheriff will teach you everything about the pony, how to ride, how to care, how to groom, change the horseshoe.... everything!

-When you know how to ride the horse, Sheriff likes to stroll around with you together with his own horse.

-You sometimes challenge him to race.

-"YEEEHAAAAW!"
You: *says the same thing but with a tiny little cute voice*

-His heart melted because of that.
