A Litte Rant Part 2

THIS IS MY OPINION

This kinda goes against my earlier rant but I just had to say this.

You know how when you look through the comments on a story to see what other people said about what you just read and there's that one, or two but usually it's just one, comment that's like (insert annoying Karen voice) "I didn't like how this was written here's how you should've done it" or "I don't like the character switch that's not what they're like you need to change it" or "this was great and all but here's what  should've happened."

First off shut the fuck up.

Secondly the Author(s) isn't going  to change their story, that they put in a bunch of time to write for others to enjoy just because you didn't like it. They wrote it that way for a reason. Whether it was for plot purposes, a change from good to evil, or just for something new.

This might come as a rude awakening to you but guess what?! The world doesn't revolve around you!

The Author(s) aren't just gonna drop everything and stop what they're doing just please one person. They're not gonna go "oh no! One person doesn't like how I wrote my story that I put so much time and effort into!! Looks like I'll have to change it so that they'll be happy."

HAHAHAHAHA

Some of you might say "but I was just trying to be helpful."

No it's not. It's just flat out rude. What you're technically saying is "the way you wrote this was wrong and it's garbage so I'm going to teach you the correct way to do it so that you don't write trash like this ever again"

I think that if ask the Author(s) nicely like "hey! I see that you're getting a lot of negative feedback on some of your stories. I'd like to help and give you some tips that I know some people use and it may help to please some of those stubborn readers! I'm not an expert but I'd still like to help!" 

No need to shout
No need to yell

Just be calm about it. You also have to know there are beginners out there so.... just go easy on'em and be nice. Even if you know that the Author(s) has been writing along time still be kind. They take time out of their day to please y'all and I'm sure they enjoy making you all happy so again please just....

If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it all.

"But they're gonna need to know this stuff later in life I'm just trying to be helpful."

Stop.
Just don't. Let those that have have years of experience and have degrees or majors in this area teach this stuff to them. If  they ask for your help, great! But other wise just keep yo musty dusty crusty ass fingers away from the keyboard.

I know I can't but I can try to make you see that what you do affects others and pisses them off and if that's your sole purpose in life, to piss people off and degrade them so that you don't have to come to terms with your own sad miserable life then fine. Just don't expect to see your next birthday. Because there's a whole community comin afta yo ass.
