Chapter 8

It was dark in the room. The lights have been off all day since the sun was shining. But it was night now.

You heard the door being opened.

Then Steve's head peeked trough the opening.

"Gosh Steve I could've killed you" you said

"Sorry just checking in" he said "shouldn't you get some sleep?"

"I'm fine" you said

"I could watch her for now and then you could get some proper sleep, I know you didn't actually sleep since Nat went missing" he said

"Okay, but if you don't wake me up as soon as her eyes open I'll kill you" you said

"I promise to wake you up" he said "now get up and get some rest you look terrible"

"Well thanks" you said sarcastically then you stood up and walked out of the room.

You felt bad leaving Nat like that but you indeed needed some good sleep.

That good sleep didn't go exactly as planned.

You got some hours of sleep but then you had a nightmare and woke up shaking and breathing heavily.

You couldn't sleep again until the sun rose.

As soon as you saw light you got out of bed. You changed you clothes and went to Nat.

Steve was sitting in the chair and looked up when he saw you open the door.

"Hi good morning" you said

"Good morning, did you sleep well?" He asked

"Yeah kinda, I wanted you to get some sleep too so you can go now" you said

Steve got up and walked towards the door where you were still standing "thank you" he said

"No problem cap, now go get some sleep" you said

"Sure will" he said before walking away

You kept standing in front of her bed. You looked at her and you felt a tear roll down your cheek.

You whipped it away before you sat down in the chair again.

Around lunch time you heard a knock on the door.

It was tony.

"Hi y/n, thought you might be hungry so I got you some lunch" he said, before handing you a burger.

"Cheeseburger?" You asked

"Yes I love these things, I always get them when I have lunch with my daughter. Like today. And I brought you one too so be thankful" he said

"Thank you Tony" you said with a little smile.

"I have to go now, enjoy your burger" he said

"I will" you shouted after him

After you ate the burger you went to get a drink.

When you came back into the room there was someone sitting in the chair.

You reached for your knife.

Then the person turned around.

It was Wanda.

"Hi y/n, sorry that I scared you I just wanted to see Nat" she said

You and Wanda were also kinda good friends, Wanda and Nat were even better friends.

Nat took care of Wanda a lot and the other way around. They were really good friends. They weren't dating, you knew that since Wanda was dating Vision.

"It's okay I know how much you care about her" you said "do you want some time alone with her?" You asked

"No thank you, I'm gonna meet up with Vision" she said

"Okay have fun!" You said

"Thank you! And could you call me when Nat wakes up?" She asked

"Of course!"  You said

"Thank you, bye" she said as she disappeared around the corner.

A few hours went by and you started to get really worried about Nat. It's been almost 2 days and you got scared she wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

You grabbed her hand and put it against your lips.

"Please wake up, I need you" you said almost crying

"What are you crying about?" Nat asked with a tired voice

"I'm not crying" you said

"It does seem like it" she said

"Nope I wasn't crying redhead" you said after that you called the others and before you knew the room was full of people.
