destiny's pov
Tomorrow was the first day of school. I couldn't help but think about it all week. Schools just never been a fun place for me. Rude teachers, fake people, people in general, vinnie.
"horrible, horrible, horrible" I say to each one of the outfits I planned out. I walk back to my closet frustrated.
"colors, think colors. pink? no i always wear pink. red? too close to pink. baby blue? yes!"
I search my closet for a baby blue shirt. I come across a cropped knitted sweater. I then go to my jeans and pick out some black flared jeans. I smile to myself.
"Destiny!" My mom called from the kitchen.
"Yes?" I shout back.
"Foods ready!" She shouts again. Without a response I go downstairs.
"Here you go mija" She hands me a plate.
"Take this to Aaron too" She hands me another. I nod.
"Thank you!" I say.
I'm gonna go to work, would you help me clean up whenever your done?" she asks.
"Yes I can!" I smile and she smiles back at me.
"Love you mija" she kisses my cheek. "Love you Aaron!" she shouts.
I go up to aaron's room, "Aaron! food"
He unlocks and opens his door, taking the plate of food from my hands.
"Thanks" he says.
"You're welcome!" I smile.
I go back to my room and lock the door. I place the plate of food on my desk and sit down.
just eat destiny, it's not that hard. but it is.
I fidget with the fork in my hand. Eventually grabbing about 3 or 4 pieces of pasta. I just stare at it, my eyes begin to water. why? why does it have to be so hard to simply eat 3 pieces of pasta? I heard a knock in front of me.
I look up to see that it's vinnie, his brows furrowed. he opens his window and I repeat the action.
"You...good?" he asks.
"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" I question.
"Curious, plus I saw you having a staring contest with your food" he smirks.
"Oh shut up" I roll my eyes. I shut my window and close the blinds.
I go downstairs to put the food back since I wasn't going to eat it. I put on my airpods and began washing dishes.
tomorrows gonna be one hell of a day.
