Through my Eyes

Red Eyes

It was a lovely day at school. Because Akana and Takashi came in two days early.

-"I thought you guys weren't gonna come until Thursday."-I said.
-"It turns out that we're going to stay for a week. A little mistake my brother made."-Akane said.
-"Hey! I told you that it was hard to hear."- Takashi said.
-"Ok, ok."-Akane said.

We talked all morning. Until she came.

-"Konichiwa Sakura-San"-Tomoko said.
-"Oh, Konichiwa Tomoko-kun."-I said.
-"So did you or did you not talked to Takashi, yesterday?"-Tomoko said.
-"Well actually he-"-I said.
-"It's just that he's visiting someone today and can't go to school. So he asked me to look after you, just in case if Sora ever comes back."-Tomoko said.
-"Oh,... ok?"-

I was kind of confused. It was strange that a boy cares so much about me. It's if he and I met somewhere in the past. It's crazy, but it might be that.

So anyway, Tomoko said a little question, after school, that kind of bugged me.
-"So is it true that you see ghosts?!"-Tomoko said.
-"Well, kinda?"-
-"Why do you have that eye patch?"-Tomoko said.
-"It's just an eye condition."-I said.
-"Let me see."-Tomoko said.

I decided to take of my eye patch and show her my eye. When she looked, she smiled and said:
-"Your eye looks really cool. Why do you hide it?"-Tomoko said.
-"Because..."-

I stopped for a moment and saw eyes change to a red color. It was weird. Sense that's the same thing I saw a day before my parents died.

-"Sakura... Sakura.... Sakura!!!"-Tomoko said that while I was still watching her eyes.
-"Huh?!"-
-"Are you ok??"-Tomoko said.
-"Oh..um yeah, I'm fine."-

I didn't know why I saw those I eyes. Her eye color is violet, not red. Maybe, I'm seeing things.

I went back home and I couldn't sleep. It's still on my mind that weird eye color. First with my parents, now with Tomoko? What is happening?!

When I came back to school, I was so tired. I barely slept at all.

-"Oh Hey Sakura-a-ay, um what happened to you?"- Tomoko said.
-"Couldn't sleep last night. But I'm fine."- I said.
-"Oh, ok. By the way, here comes Hiro, Bye!"-Tomoko said.
-"Let me guess, you didn't sleep well last night."-Hiro said.
-"Is it obvious?"-I said.
-"Your panda eyes gave it away,.. a little."-Hiro said.

It was nice having another friend to be next to me. I introduced him to Akane and Takashi, but it turns out that they already know each other. And we decided, at lunch, to bring in Tomoko to eat with us. After that we all became friends.

Until Wednesday that everything changed. But I don't want to talk talk about it. Lets just say that... that... that there was a car incident. And I never get to see Tomoko again.

Looks I know now what the red eyes mean. Why she get to "faded away " so soon.
