Everyone knows that as they are fairytales they are dark as well. But did you hear about this twisted tale?
Once upon a time there was a fine young man, Geppetto. He worked night and day in his little work shop, everyday was the same. Though, he loved his life. Even when his black hair turned more grey with each toy he made. He loved that everyday when he worked his magic and made his toy creations he was putting a smile on someones face. He felt important, and when people smiled he knew he was good at his job. He was a full-time Santa Clause. And he loved it.
His life however satisfying, had a hole in it. Years of this passed each day getting more and more lonely than the last, until one day he met a lady as beautiful as can be. Brunette with dark green eyes, before the year ended Geppetto and Mary were married and in love.
The hole now filled, Geppetto felt like every fairytale he had ever read. In that moment
they lived happily ever after.
They were living the fairytale, until reality settled in. Mary was still with no child. As he felt completeness in his life, Geppetto always wanted to be a father. It hurt him to think that it might not be possible. But Geppetto hadn't lost hope, he knew one day a blessing would be brought upon them, and they would have a child. He was so confident in this that he even made their non-existent child a toy, a brother, a Pinocchio.
