What changed?

Everyone's night (chapter 6)

The last day before tournaments you all planned a everyone's night, the 3rd years (suga,daichi,kiyoko and Asahi) woke up early in the morning to go visit a shrine

Us first years and second years stayed to practice and thought of a plan while waiting for the 3rd years to come back

Everything was going smoothly until kageyama walked over to you and everyone's attention turn over to you two

"Chibi chan" he paused

"Will you like to go to the spring festival with me later tonight?" He said nervously

"Ohh of cours-" you got cut off by Tanaka and Nishinoya saying that they will tag along

Not to long after Tsuki,Yamaguchi , shoyo and yachi also said they would come

****time skip to the spring festival

You were expecting to be with kageyama the whole time but he ended up hanging out with shoyo so you just went to go hang out with tsuki ,Yamaguchi and yachi

****Kageyama's POV

I invited y/n to the spring festival so we could spend time together but everyone else tagged along I was a little bit upset about it

When we got there I was expecting to we with y/n the whole night but shoyo dragged me around with him

"Shoyo do you mind leaving me alone for a second" I said as I looked over to y/n holding on into Tsukishimas jacket

"Ohhh I see you like her!" Shoyo said as he thought about something

"What are you thinking" I asked

"Y/n!" Shoyo called out for her and told her to come and she did

"Kageyama wants to play ring toss with you" shoyo said as he moved next to me giving me and y/n spaced

"Oh sure!" She said as we started playing ring toss it was fun although it ended soon as Yachi called her over to get food

I got upset as I looked over to shoyo who was planning something else

"Hey invite her for some shaved ice" shoyo said

"Right" I said as I looked over to y/n

"Y/n! Do you want to go get shaved ice with me?" I asked nervously

"Omg yes!" She said as she ran up to me

Just then Nishinoya and Tanaka came back with shaved ice for all of us

"Thanks" she said as she grabbed a shaved ice from them

I looked over to shoyo who had a big smirk on his face as he acted like he tripped over a rock

His shaved ice flew out of his hand and was about to spill on y/n so I quickly covered her as the shaved ice spilled on me

"Omg I'm sorry! Are you okay?" Y/n asked

"Yea I'll be back ima go clean myself" I said as I walked over to shoyo

"Don't, it's fine I don't want to put y/n in danger" I said as I walked away upset

*****your POV

Kageyama kept calling you over to play with him and then got interrupted by the other which made you kind of upset

Shoyo's shaved ice cream was bout to spill on but but kageyama covered me so I won't get dirty but you felt bad because his shirt was white you quickly tried helping him but he just said that he'll be back that he was going to go clean up

You and the others waited for him but he never came back

"I'll go look for him what if he got lost" you said

They all agreed and went separate ways to look for him

You thought about where he could be at....at the water gun game As you made your way there you saw kageyama's shirt soaked as he was actually playing water gun

You stood behind him as he finished the game

"Congrats you won"the worker there gaved kageyama two bracelets

"I'll just take one" he said

"One for you and one for your girlfriend"the worker said as he looked at you

Kageyama turned around and saw you as he said "she's not my girlfriend" he laughed awkward as he took both bracelets

Then he handed you a bracelet

"Thanks" you said

"did you need something?" He asked

"No we got worried and looked for you?" You said as you looked at him

"Ohh how'd you find me?" He asked

"I just knew you would be here you've told me before how water gun was your favorite game" you smiled at him as he chuckled

They two of you walked over to a pond and sat down to talk, y'all talked and laughed until a firework went out infront of y'all

You smiled and looked over at kageyama who was blushing ready to say something

"Can I-" he said
"Do you-" you said at the same time as he was about to spoke

"You go first" he said

"tobio chan I just want to say that you will win tomorrow's match I know it!" You said with a bright smile that also made him smile

"Thanks" he said

"What were you going to say" I asked

Another firework went off

"Y/n....I like you, I always have...w-will you go out with me?" He asked me

You were shocked by his sudden confession
I quickly looked away and smiled knowing i was bushing

"I-I would love to" you said as you got pulled in into a hug by kageyama

They two of you held hands as y'all were about to go back you saw everyone behind y'all smiling and cheering for y'all

The two of you looked at each other and laughed
