Chapter Eight

"You should eat something." Blaise whispered handing her a plate. She smiled taking the plate from him, and started to fill her plate up.

She couldn't help but feel people's eyes on her while she ate. She looked up to see half the great hall was looking at both her and Theodore.

Eyeing them as if they were something to gawk at. She couldn't help but to feel the main people that were looking at her were her best friends.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

She probably wouldn't be here if she would have just told them the truth instead of hiding it. She looked past them to see Silas and Lucien still staring at them.

They were in disbelief, that she would go for someone like Theodore Nott. After all he was everything she despised.

She even told Lucien once one there way to Hogsmeade that he reminded her of her father. And now for her to be dating him, didn't sit right with either one of them. Something had to be going on.

She felt another set of eyes burn into her, this time it was someone from the Slytherin table. Pansy.

She didn't like the girl, neither did Pansy like her, but she could help but feel bad how Theodore had to pretend to be in a relationship with her rather than his own girlfriend.

She looked away and started to pick at her food, trying to avoid the stares, and waited for the first class to start.

"I for one didn't expect that." Professor McGongall said taking a sip from her drink.

"I always thought she would end up with that Lucien boy from Ravenclaw." Professor Sprout said rather mad at the fact she lost her fair share of galleons.

"As it seems they always end up with the one they hate. Take a look at Lily and James Potter." Dumbledore said collecting his galleons.

Snape scoffing at the mention of James's name.

"Dumbledore you old geezer! You must have cheated there was no way in Merlin you saw that coming!" Madam Hootch exclaimed giving up ten galleons.

Y/n walked into her first class being Potions, she made her way towards her regular seat ignoring the stares she got on the way.

"If they stare at you ignore them. Don't give them the reaction they want." Blaise said giving her a smile making his way towards his own seat at the back.

She took a breath as Hermione sat down next to her not acknowledging her presence. Silence over came the table of two, as they listened to Slughorn's listen.

Minutes went by and people began talking to their partners discussing about the posting they had to make. However the girls stayed silent neither one of them making the effort to talk to one another.

She turned around to see Theodore staring at her, keeping an eye on her,

"I'll be keeping an eye on you, to make sure nothing doesn't come out of that mouth of yours." Theodore whispered in her ear before entering Slughorn's class.
